I know that its fiction and all, but I tend to always get so involved with the story that to me it almost feels real - which can be quite troublesome when a rape scene appears between the two maincaracters, who are “meant” to be together.
I honestly think Junta is a piece of garbage, and that shitty angelic facade he keeps up almost all the time is creeping me out. Theres clearly something wrong with him, and he let’s it all go out on Takato.
God dammit, I’m such a freak for even writing all this, because in the end it’s all fucking pointless and no one gives a shit when it all comes to it, but here I am having a crisis over some cliche manga.
I’m not here to critizise the mangaka (or at least I hope I didn’t), but I really wanted to adress my opinion on this. They obviously did a great job with the story and art whatsoever, some of it just doesn’t fit my taste.

I agree with your opinion. If it's supposed to be a romance then I don't like rape trope because raping your true love is just bullshit (Hidoku Shinaide is a great example of a romance manga that involves rape to love and I really hate that series for it, among other issues with the series). If we're talking psychological stories, like my goddess Harada's, then I can deal with non-con because it's not trying to portray some lovey dovey romance, it's portraying the realistic depravity of humans and harmful attachment (I dated someone just fucking like Fukusuke from Color Recipe). I can also deal with it when it comes to horrifying backstories (e.g., lots of yakuza yaoi have this, Harada's Yatamomo deals with Momo's past abuse, etc.) because that's realistic trauma and not romantic. I understand it's fiction, but that's the way I happen to like my fiction.
