im not going to say them getting freaky is super necessary to the plot, but I do think we're seeing progression around it. Like how Bada is slowly softening up and being more inclined to give into Doha's demands. How Doha is recounting things he's doing away from Bada that we haven't seen on screen, and obviously the man is not the most reliable narrator.
And while the freaking is distracting US from the plot, it's also distracting BADA from the plot. He's hardly getting anything done without Doha coming to him expecting a reward, one Bada has grown more and more willing to give. AND Doha always draws things out, making the time when Bada isn't get shit done even longer. I don't just think it's because Doha has crazy stamina, not when he has obvious motivation to keep Bada distracted for as long as possible.
After all, once Bada finds all the clues and completes the game, what happens to Doha? At the end of the day he's still an NPC, even if he's a sentient one. And Bada winning means Bada leaving. Why would he EVER allow that?
Anyway yeah I am not enjoying all the freaking BUT I'm trying to find the plot in it (please god the plot)
