growing up in a borderline cult as a lesbian i prayed every night that god would let me be with my family in the afterlife, even though i was a sinner. I prayed for forgiveness, for my soul, for my feelings not to damn me. They spoke about how wrong it was to love the same sex, how wrong it was to do so many things in that place. I left the church when i was 14 or so, and i still carry that shame i felt as a little girl praying for god not to hate me for liking girls.
Every time i start to like a woman, i become suffocated by that shame. I become reminded of my prayers and what i was taught to believe. I feel disgusting, dirty for things that ive done and things ive gone through. Seeing this truly hits home like nothing else. Only i never had someone else to believe in. Overall though, this story is beautiful and the ending fits, as sad as it is. What it manages to capture in so few chapters is so incredible and im glad i read it even if it hurts.

im actually kind of mad that he didn't do something toxic and evil because then at least his character would be consistent. The author is trying to gaslight us into thinking he's just some sad pathetic man now after the fucking insane shit he pulled at the beginning but IT'S NOT WORKING!!! I KNOW WHO YOU ARE TOXIC FREAK MAN!!!
the way he had the GALL to act offended and hurt after he literally threatened to show the pictures in the beginning to blackmail him?? why WOULDN'T he think you were up to some psycho bullshit again??? YOU'RE INSANE!!! YOU'RE BOTH INSANE!!!
im not going to say them getting freaky is super necessary to the plot, but I do think we're seeing progression around it. Like how Bada is slowly softening up and being more inclined to give into Doha's demands. How Doha is recounting things he's doing away from Bada that we haven't seen on screen, and obviously the man is not the most reliable narrator.
And while the freaking is distracting US from the plot, it's also distracting BADA from the plot. He's hardly getting anything done without Doha coming to him expecting a reward, one Bada has grown more and more willing to give. AND Doha always draws things out, making the time when Bada isn't get shit done even longer. I don't just think it's because Doha has crazy stamina, not when he has obvious motivation to keep Bada distracted for as long as possible.
After all, once Bada finds all the clues and completes the game, what happens to Doha? At the end of the day he's still an NPC, even if he's a sentient one. And Bada winning means Bada leaving. Why would he EVER allow that?
Anyway yeah I am not enjoying all the freaking BUT I'm trying to find the plot in it (please god the plot)
honestly I think Doha is going to be the biggest obstacle in Bada's way. He's just getting more and more suspicious with each chapter, and all the freaking is making Bada less and less aware of it. He's softening him up enough for Bada not to realize that Doha has literally no reason to finish the game when he's an NPC and Bada winning means Bada leaving.
Would he ever actually let that happen? Let's be real here. Nam Doha is worse than the killer could ever be, scarier than the killer could ever be, and more inclined to keep Bada trapped than the killer could ever be.
He's helping Bada enough to soften him up, but all that 'help' is dubious at best. He's keeping Bada 'fucked out' enough to keep him from thinking too hard about what his motives are. He's getting more and more suspicious and ultimately, it's obvious what and WHO is going to stand in Bada's way. He just doesn't know it yet.
