Yeah, there would be a scar there, they probably just put cover-up/make-up over it. Either that or the artist is drawing it from Mel's eyes.
you know its absurd that you can feel the music and the emotion and the pain and sorrow that they say the music is conveying through the art. this is why i love this comic, even in the translations, its so well done that the feeling is immense and real and horrible and wonderful.
