This is one wholesome anime. The author really went deep with the characters and their struggles as a player.
I feel like this was when he started to remember things that he forgot. That sex was sealing the deal with Nakyum... Hm...
This is truly getting exhausting. Truly.
Might I remind you guys that there were NO INSTANCE in the series that gave these characters a chance to be alone and have THAT MOMENT together where-in the "Could there be a chance that he likes me?" moment. Like for the second couple, for example.
Dan and Jaekyung's relationship was purely physical. And in order to transform that into a 'romantic' relationship, the author does very poorly about it and just casually uses the cliche troupes.
Instead of them fucking again, it would've been better if Jaekyung used Dan' s grandma to get closer to him all for the guise of "getting him to back with him to korea". And from that, their relationship would somehow become something more with depth than just purely lust and sex.
The author could've done so much better than giving us this shit of a chapter. Sigh.
Yeah the author is doing the trope where we see Jaekyung be nice to everyone except Dan and call it character development then call it a day
Honestly this is like a badly written BJ Alex, which is kinda ironic since it's from the same author.
I've ppl on social media and other websites (bato .to) compare the two and the arcs, panels and even dialogues are the same, even Jaekyung is an Alex with his flaws exaggerated. Mingwa plagiarized her own work and somehow made it worse.
Even the prospect of seeing Jaekyung being put in his place by Kim Dan isn't exciting anymore because he's literally never allowed to win. Like, I've seen ppl on social media rejoice because he stood up to horse face, but so what? Jaekyung still got what he wanted and Dan is still miserable
After that chapter where he read his diary, His actions completely changed. And thats the reason why he didn't need it anymore cause he remembered everything.
