I like the idea/concept of how FL has to pretend as a boy and it's quite painful to see FL struggles from this pretense. She wants to find her mother and lived as a normal girl and be loved of who she is. I was even excited since ML got to know the truth before he left for war.
What I don't like in the story is how they skipped the whole war fiasco thing. You can feel the tension like the brewing for war and where peace was disturbed when ML dad was poisoned. However, where is my war action and the enemy 2nd prince? I was waiting for that or at least anything about FL during the war time. But NOOOO, we only got the 4 years timeskip and suddenly kingdom is winning, ML returning back and pursuing FL. We don't get too much about the Rebel Group action.
These two fight like a dog and a cat Cute and vicious to one another. I see Chase the cat type (the very sensitive one who easily got temper) and Josh the dog type (who likes to tease and the playful one).
Well, even on bed - Josh is the playful one and the one teaching Chase some bed things hahahaha
I got to read the spoiler and beware, this novel has lots of timeskips.
1 year timeskip after FL went to NYC before meeting ML once again
5 years timeskip after FL and ML got married for Great Depression
2 years timeskip for prologue
I'm just happy to know that I got to know what happened to John/Jake (the pilot) and who he is.
I was leaning with Ian at first but after the prison time, damn... Girl, it's time to go to America. You don't have a life or someone there in England anymore It's time to start a new life away where no one knows your noblewoman life. No one from Nottingham family even visited you in your prison time or friends from hospital you've worked with. This is really heart-wrenching.

I remember in the novel how Chase almost killed Josh number of times:
1. Gun scene. There are paparazzi at Chase's home and he got really angry, pulled out the gun and started shooting the people. Josh tried to stop Chase and Chase even tried to shot Josh. Chase hated to be touched and disturbed. But damn, Chase wants Josh dead
2. Pool scene. Josh thought Chase got drown, so he tried to save Chase. Actually, Chase was just relaxing in the water and got angry at Josh - again. Chase even tried to drown Josh like pushing Josh's head in the waterrrrrrr!!!

I can't blame him too much as among the Millers he is literally the most normal and the one who presented late so he has emotions unlike his siblings who are literally faking emotions. Not to mention he doesn't have sex to alleviate his pheromones in sex parties(Something all Extreme alphas have to do- disperse their pheromones or they get crazy). Not to mention his older brother told him in his desperation he had sex with a dog further traumatizing him (which is fake).

Yeah, Chase was the "normal" amongst the siblings. The rest grew up without emotions just like their dad.
There was a scene where Chase's pet died and young Chase was so sad, told Grayson and his dad that his pet died. However, they just told him to throw it away and find a new pet. They don't understand why Chase was so affected with his pet demise. Poor child.
Josh knew who is the father of his baby. Chase doesn't remember sleeping with Josh or any omega. Chase thought he slept with a dog during his rut... I'm blaming Grayson on this, he likes teasing Chase coz he thinks Chase is not normal to them. He is different from the what a Miller family should be.
