Not going to question morality of a bunch of drawings lmao. It's Victorian setting and I have media literacy. Regency era and Victorian era literature are far more unhinged than this BL manhwa that doesn't even touch the surface level of power struggle between nobles and royalty.
Anyways
Yixing and Alvin are so precious I love their friendship so much it's beautiful.
Kinard trying his best but he has no idea how to handle Alvin. I love his approach of telling him about kissing. Yet he cannot do much since too much resistance can result to Alvin having a mental breakdown. He was groomed for 10 years and in extremely fragile mental state. They grasped that but again psychology wasn't even invented back then so they are trying their best.
I also like how Kinard is not treating him as a child but an adult because if he did and then had sex with him it would be weirder. Alvin's mind might be of a child but he is still an adult the only way to cure him is treating like one. Only then he can be independent. Treating him like a child would stunt his mental growth and make him further depend of Kinard because children looks for an adult they can depend on.
Rahman is HILARIOUS I love his personality.
I was confused why they called him "Yesing" and mentioned he was from a province in China before realising it's "Yixing" and the translator is translating the Hangul it was written in.
Right.. but.. Avel and Tukiri did meet before the ceremony.. so.. will Avel turn into a black shark? Hmm Daehwa
I also think Avel will turn into a black shark because he made contact with Tukiri before the ceremony. But i don't understand why the clan leaders are hiding the truth.
I cried 5 times reading this. Papa Wolf's backstory is so sad. Our little potato had a rough start but he grew so big and capable *Aggressively burns red chilli to ward off evil spirits for the baby*
I really hate stories where human civilisation just lives on the heaps of someone's sacrifice and doesn't get retribution. The village is like the city of Omelas. Yet I guess it's reality.
