Despite this story being set in ancient times, the story telling elements are so modern, I can sort of see a modern re-casting of this. Don't get me wrong, I love this the way it is, but the characters are very clearly created that you can put them in a different setting they can still work.
I mean by modern AU that I can see these characters being put in a modern Seoul setting. With NK being the first year Art student who got in through scholarship and who also draws online yaoi doujins and earns a side wage this way. He lives with his "aunts" and "sisters", some are prostitutes, others work in bars and casinos.
SH is either a Business Masters student or the CEO of a well known company (side wives are CEOs of their family's companies). For those who know him, it's no secret he has "weird" parties (gay orgies). Outside of his partying and managing the family company, SH indulges in a certain online artist's BL yaoi.
IH is the high school teacher who once taught NK, and also found out about NK's side job. Offended and disgusted that NK, a mere poor scholarship student is making a side income that's relatively good for what it is, starts his poisonous counselling to get NK to stop drawing BL and publishing it online. It works for a while, and we see NK get into college for Art, receiving a scholarship based on an impressive portfolio.
SH and NK meet at an Art show hosted by NK's college, funded by SH's company. SH just shows up out of obligation, because his company funded the show. NK is there and excited because his art is being showcased professionally for the first time! SH pauses when he sees a piece, because the style is similar to the backgrounds for an online BL series that he likes. He starts getting curious about NK.
That's all I got for now. Just a musing, guys. Not based on anything Except the manhwa (so in short this is an AU fanfic).

It would really make for a twist if she decides to become a vampire because too many people are trying to kill her for one reason or another. Then she'd be like fed up with all the bs so she'd tell Milliard and he'll jump for joy (not depicted but that's his inner self). It might lead to a whole kill all the people who are trying to kill us schpiel, and we find out it"s all the King/Royal family's ploy because they are afraid of the vampires.
I know there's the dread-for-eternity-because-you-live-forever deal, but that's for another story.
Alternatively, she might get hunted until she's dead (as a human), and go back to her world. As a result of his lifespan beimg tied to hers, he might also die and get reimcarnated into her world, and they meet up and date in her world. Like a normal couple.
Just reflections and predictions, so don't quote me here. I haven't seen the raws, just guessing.

Tbh, I really like the personalities of this oneshot. However, I can see how character development would be limited. I'm sure Ishida-sensei worked a lot with the editors to try and create a whole host of characters as we know them in the serialization by separating different facets of the prototype characters.
Changing Kaneki's character into a human who turned into a ghoul adds more depth to the story, and gives him a reason to struggle. I've gotta hand it to Ishida-sensei and the editorial team for all the time spent making the serialization from this foundational work.

Rael seems to like to listen to her for advice...wonder what would happen if he tells her about he plans to marry Princess Morina (NOT knowing Marie is the princess), and asks her for advice about what to do.
Rael: What do you think a ruler should do when he finds the last surviving Princess of a kingdom he conquered?
Marie: *sweats* What might you mean, My Lord? Is there such a person?
Rael: Suppose I find Princess Morina of the Cloyan Kingdom....
Marie: *sweating x 1000* Umm....what does My Lord plan to do then...?
Rael: I would marry her to solidify the kingdoms, but if she disagrees, I'll have to kill her. I would like to hear your thoughts about this.

Ok, for those of you who have read the Raws, you have all probably pieced together one and one. For those who haven't, or can't understand it, I will try my best here to tell it how it seems to be.
Note, first, my disclaimer: I am not a native fluent speaker of Japanese, I merely know enough to read it and understand roughly what is being said, so I can be a bit wrong about who said what first. So if you still want to be spoiled anyway, read on (I will also cover why the alpha doesn't remember): IF YOU DON'T want to be spoiled, click the back button on the top left hand side of your browser, thanks! :)
The whole story:
<spoiler>We must begin a few years back, when the uke was still a student, working as an errand boy for the parties that the dating company hosted. It was at such an event that our uke and seme met for the very first time.
Kairi was working as a waiter for a soiree on a luxury cruise that was hosted by the company. He was taken aback by Jinguuji when he first saw him in the crowd, but thought nothing of it (ok, so it was more like the uke was thinking, "Man, I'd like him to tap me *sparkly eyes* but nah, we come from different worlds').
So the night goes on all ok, and Kairi is in the men's room freshening up. Then Jinguuji stumbles in drunk and kinda' sick. Kairi asks if he would like some help. Jinguuji tells him he needs a bit of help going back to his room, so Kairi helps. However, he is in heat (or did Jinguuji trigger his heat? Something along those lines), and Jinguuji is also feeling that Kairi is pretty (,)cute and tap-able. They reach his room, and Kairi asks Jinguuji to do him.
Kairi feels like he was using Jinguuji the entire time, because even as they screwed, Jinguuji kept on saying sweet things like, "Move in with me", "Marry me" and other responsible, proposal-like things. Since he was the one who asked a drunk alpha to screw him, Kairi felt like he was entrapping Jinguuji. That, and I think social differences had him thinking he was unworthy of the Alpha. So throughout their lovemaking, Kairi repeatedly asked Jinguuji to "please forget me". Looks like Jinguuji did. Kairi ended up becoming pregnant with Senri as a result, and fast forward to now (5 years? later), he's determined to make Jinguuji marry well.
It's a bit bittersweet that Kairi thinks just that one night and his child is enough for him. He doesn't think he's good enough to be with Jinguuji, which is why he tries to find someone "suitable" for him.
It is later on revealed from Jinguuji's perspective that although he had forgotten the details of that night, he had not forgotten that he had mated someone that night. He also seems to have remembered some key features? From the raws, he seems to have remembered his voice and his small stature? So Jinguuji refused a lot of marriage proposals because none of them brought back the feelings from that night nor matched what he remembered of his partner. He seems to have been searching for that one omega he scewed on the boat...something about the scent being right? Not too clear on that...<spoiler>
But yeah, I'm done my only half-accurate spoil-rant. Again, I have to reiterate that I'm not a native speaker of Japanese, nor am I even fluent in it.

I hope you are right...these omegaverse pair bonds (not fated pairs, just the regular ones) always seem one sided...the omega can never have sex with another after being bitten and on the upside their heats won't affect other alphas so fear of rape is reduced; but the alpha seems unaffected..they can screw whomever and ditch their pair without physical side effects. At least in this story the alpha is attracted to the mate whose face he forgot.

I'm talking about the one in the panel right above the crashed helicopter, with its back smashed into a shop:

If each of these scenes correspond to one of the Big 3 (or people going against Aaron) being ambushed/"down", then who were the ones in the car?
The first car with Feilong and Yoh were ambushed by a truck ram to the side and then armed thugs shooting at it.
The third panel with the crashed helicopter we already know contained Asami and Aki.
So this third car...is it Mikhail? Doesn't seem to make sense, because Mikhail kind of plays double agent in all of this. He saved Sakazaki and Sudoh, who were working with Aaron.
Though Aaron wants to kill Sudoh off for talking about him, it wouldn't really make sense for him to target Mikhail, because Mikhail saved Sudoh after the broken deal.
Also, I feel like Mikhail is too sly to be caught so unawares. This leaves me with thinking Kirishima or Suoh were in the second car....
Thoughts, everyone?
...Yeah. I have found Microsoft Edge to work better on Surface tablets, so Safari has a point about owning hardware=owning users (sort of).
If Google is all about getting into users' privacy, what does that mean for other browsers that are powered by Chromium but is all about privacy? (ex. Epic browser with its built-in VPN)
Are they the love-children of Tor and Chrome, or are they shadow/corrupt clones of Chrome made by Tor?
Still wanna give props to the artist for being thorough about internet browser research!
