Yes it's true that the dad want to redeem his father duties. But he should have slowly integrated himself to their lives slowly. Kowtowing and apologizing multiple times to the mc. He left his son right away and push all the responsibilities to the mc. Mc experienced all hardships, and his only motivation in life is the kid. And now just because the father's life is in good standing, that piece of poopoo want to take back the kid he abandoned??!!
Sorry, but the dad has his own problems i understand. But it just need to be said. Did he even apologize properly to the mc? Instead, he showed to mc the harsh reality of what the kid will experience if he stayed with the mc. He's doing his best, but he should have realized that the mc is doing his best also, based on his circumstances.
And the ML is becoming the very bright, greenest flag. Is this the redemption arc?? Is it bad to request for moreee redemption?? My heart is being swayed and this is so bad

Right? He left because his circumstances weren’t the best. But then judged euihyun for staying, protecting and raising his brother despite not having the means and under poor circumstances. It make no sense, because if everyone behaved like the dads euiyoung would be in the care system or the dead. And yes I’m loving taeju’s redemption arc, though it’s hard to forget about how trash he was like 6 chapters ago lol
Yeees!! Just seeing that father makes my blood boil, like how dare he! Not that i know how that feels like, cause i haven't experienced any of those. But still.. i would be livid if it were me.
Also, i remember taeju during his rut, where he finally realized his own feelings very late. And how he "try" to redeem himself despite mc's feelings. We never truly got the whole stabilization of their relationship since mc's mental state is at the lowest, but the author is giving us taeju green instead of his taeju red. It's like, in just a chapter he turned over into a new leaf. Like whaaat~
