She most likely said this because in Korea, it is very shameful and very much look down upon if you’re an older woman, especially if you are divorced being with a younger man. Especially with celebrities, Korean women will get attacked if they get a divorce even though most of the time The reason why they get a divorce is because the husband leaves them or they’re getting cheated on. What she said is not wrong and a society like Korea, a younger man would not be an interested in a divorced woman like her 99% of Korean men look at divorce women as used up and not worthy of marriage since they are divorced. Mincheol is a great example of how Korean men actually are and men like the male lead are practically nonexistent here. Even the hottest celebrities/Idols are like Mincheol and you especially have to be careful if they’re hot cause they’re usually misogynistic pigs and hate feminist to the point where they can get aggressive with you.
