Anyone has any good recommendations for a story with something like a reverse transmigration? Like someone who used to be from a martial arts world suddenly came to our world, or a magician or a supernatural being. Well, it doesn’t have to be like that either. I guess I’m just looking for a story where the MC has an advantage because of the knowledge from their original world or previous life and now they’re just cruising through life on easy mode. I just want something refreshing and satisfying to read. Nothing too angsty or stressful

I wonder why in fantasy stories, the characters need to cut down a tree to show off their power. What did the tree ever do to you? And do you know how long it takes for a tree to grow so big? Cut a huge tree stump in two or a rock or whatever. Why does it have to be a big live tree every time? I know it’s fantasy and it’s fake, but I still feel bad for the trees

Why do Chinese BL authors romanticize codependence and use sex as a solution to everything?
I'm reading this story where ML got really upset because someone brought up something about his past that he still hasn't been able to let go even after many years has passed, so to calm his anger, he goes to MC's house and starts having sex with him while MC is asleep. Like WTF? They've been together for a while and have had sex many times now, so I'm not against the idea of waking your S/O up with sex if you fall asleep together, but poor MC didn't know ML would sneak into his house and into his bed to suddenly start having sex with him.
To be supportive of each other is great, but I don't think that support should come in the form of sex. If ML is very angry and upset and needs the MC's support, cuddling or talking about it while cuddling, or even crying together should be good. Why "calm down his anger with sex"? Makes no sense whatsoever. Looks to me that this is actually using sex as an escape to avoid the problem here. So unhealthy
And this is not the only story I've read where a couple starts having sex because one of them is very upset and they use sex to calm them down or make them feel better. Like HOW? When someone is very upset and feeling awful, how are they supposed to get in the mood to even do it?

Oh, it's not a manhua but a novel lol. Sorry if it was misleading. I just thought that BL manga/manhwa/manhua readers would also like BL novels and I needed somewhere to vent, so I wrote it here. Chinese BL novels can be really good btw. If you haven't read any before, I totally recommend doing so. Quickly Wear the Face of the Devil is my favorite. Mo Dao Zu She (The Founder of Diabolism) is also a novel, although it's being adapted to a manhua now, so if you aren't reading it yet, I totally recommend it.

Yeah, sure. I've read a lot of novels. It depends on what you like to read though. I mostly like fluffy and cute stories with healthy couples, so I mostly have recommendations for that. But just let me know what type of BL you like and I can recommend you some stuff. Do you like shorter stories, longer stories, cute and fluffy, plot heavy, simple story, top protagonist, bottom protagonist, mpreg, smutty, transmigration? The only type I can't really recommend you is abusive. I don't like that so I don't read that.
That's great. I'm still reading The Wife is First and How to Survive as a Villain(still ongoing) and I like the couples a lot. I guess I like longer stories with lovey dovey couple but somewhat smut (=・ω・=).mpreg and transmigration are good too.
Oh, I was reading "The Wife is First" as well but I ran out of chapters so I've been waiting for the translation to finish before reading it. I see that the ones you're reading are a bit longer and plot play an important part. So here goes:
I recommend:
-Quickly Wear the Face of the Devil - It's a quick transmigration one. The plot is awesome, the main characters are OP and awesome and there's smut. The main story is completely translated. I think it's not marked as completed because of the extras, but tbh, those don't matter.
-The Founder of Diabolism (Mo Dao Zu Shi) - Rebirth (MC dies and comes back to life in a different body). It takes a while for the couple to get together but it's ABSOLUTELY worth it. The story is beautifully written and everything ties up at the end.
-Rebirth of a Movie Star - As the tittle, MC is reborn, but he's reborn a few years in the past as himself. This one is a bit shorter, but it has adorable children and the couple is lovey dovey and the story is super satisfying to read.
-Stone Age Husband Raising Journal - Transmigration. This is mostly cute and fluffy. Not a lot of intrigue But the couple is very cute.
-Home of the Zerg - Transmigration. MC is the gong/seme/top. Manlier men give birth. Not a lot of plot and it's a short one, but there's smut and the couple is cute.
Now for some good ones that aren't completely translated yet, but I've finished reading because I read the raws (I can read Chinese):
-Transmigrated into the Film Emperor's Death-Seeking Fiance - Transmigration into a book. Mpreg. The rating is lower than the others I've recommended, but I quite liked it. Idk why the rating is so low.
-The Only Favorite Ugly Husband - Transmigration. MC is the gong/seme/top. World with 3 sexes. Mpreg. Great extras.
-I Became A Virtuous Wife and Loving Mother in Another Cultivation World - Transmigration to the distant past. Mpreg. I don't recommend reading the extras. Only read the main story.
I'll recommend these for now. Enjoy. If you want more recommendations, I can recommend more, but the ones on this list are ones that I really liked. There are others that are good as well, it's just that they are not as memorable.

Ugggghhh... I'm reading this really good manhwa where the FL is super intelligent and super capable but I'm getting very irritated at how clueless she's being about other's people's feelings for her. Yes, I know she thinks of herself as someone unworthy and whatnot. But understanding doesn't mean I won't get irritated. Also, someone so intelligent with such a deep understanding of strategies, schemes and manipulation CAN'T have low EQ. It's just not possible. Why do authors need to make FLs clueless in one way or another? Can't they ever be well rounded individuals? So annoying!
So, I'm just a tad annoyed right now because I've been reading a bit of straight romance lately and... why is there such a tendency for authors to make the FL oblivious??? I don't get it! And even when the FL is smart, they are never smarter or even as smart as the ML. Why? Why is there a need to make the ML stronger than the FL in every aspect possible? I get the appeal of the FL being pampered and protected, but I don't think this should be unilateral. How about authors start creating stories with more balanced couples and have them protect and pamper each other? Maybe that's why I tend to prefer BL

It's just a preference... I agree though that there should be more variety when it comes to straight couples (excuse my english I am not a native speaker)
U r right... I tried to read st. Romance back then but it just... Nah!.. They lack in some aspect tho some of them r grt but nah... U can say that it is bcz of cultural differences between their environment and ours.... They like girls who r oblivious or like cute and all and r afraid of bold girls which is quite opposite of our preferences....

I love Chinese web novels, but I feel like the quality of most Chinese Manhuas is so bad. The art is always pretty but in most of them the art doesn’t flow so the story telling is very choppy
yeahhh idk why most manhuas feel like cliche soap operas. it feels like most of them just reduce their characters down to tropes but dont give them any other personality traits
chinas got the webnovel game ON LOCK tho idk what they put in their novels but it must be crack or smth. maybe their humor and tropes just lend themselves to be better in writing than in comics? idk
