It's perfectly normal to dislike a ship (I'm not particularly interested in the cat x fish), but your justifications being "it doesn't make sense" "there's no chemistry" or it's "forced" is so funny given they met five seconds ago. A lot of you act like the story just ended every time a new chapter is posted. I hope you know what development is.
I'm sooo bad with horror but I really want to read this ╥﹏╥ I can't get through Chp 9 how am I gonna survive till 260+. Lord lend me strength
Alright, well it's not scary. I think if anything it's more sad/bittersweet. If you can push through the first arc, the ghosts and horror don't show up much after. Each arc focuses on a different person/dynamic, being heartwarming, sad, comedic... whatever you want. I've reread the comic maybe... 4 times? Obviously it isn't completed, lol. But I honestly forget about the ghost stuff until I reread it, because after that it's just mentioned in passing. Hope you stick around!
Lowkey regret reading the novel because now I'm not as excited about the manhwa as I used to be ╥﹏╥ Instead now I'm nitpicky about what made the cut and what didn't lol. But the story is just so good I couldn't help myself...
Anyway, let's hold a prayer circle for our lovely Jigu. Yeonwoo is a very tough clueless opponent...
does the novel already have an english translation? if yes can you tell me where can i read it? ╥﹏╥
It's ongoing. Chapter 47 ≈ Chapter 70 (novel) https://wooksteahouse.com/variant/the-guild-member-next-door/chapter-70/
omg! okay thankyou so much!
Do you recommend the novel over the manga. Or do you think the manga is good enough where the things seem fine. Also can you list some of ur nitpicks before the end of season 1? I’m quite curious (=・ω・=)
*nitpicks before the end of season 1 of the manga*
It's a pretty good adaptation in my opinion! It's simply the typical "can't fit every little detail in". Though I was a little disappointed in the last scenes. YW and Jigu's family actually met at the parking lot of their building, and most of the introductions were done in the car on the way to the restaurant. There was also more bonding done between the brothers and YW, and the whole "Jigu escaped to the military" bit was explained better in the novel. I'd recommend the novel for the full experience and more of Yeonwoo's thoughts, but the differences are not drastic :)
