I don't trust Ryan at all. Same with Cecilia. All of this mess would have been handle better if they just tell Lucaon the situation about Kyon. But, no.. they think its better to keep quite and drive Kyon away.
Also, its been mentioned that Ryan has been fighting Intron for a long time and not someone the Intron could directly piss off, but for all the "Big Bad Wolf Ryan" vibe, we never really see exactly how good he is fighting them. Even in the flashback, all we see is Ryan going to a fancy party and mingling with however in the party, perhaps collecting information???

Their convo go on like this:
K:"i can no longer continue working. Ryan-nim, he..he seen to be finding more people to work here, its all fine so... i have to go get my stuf-..."
As Kyon taking and walk fast the door, Lucaon hold back his arm.
K:"i... its to late today, i have to get my stuff and leave right away so..."
L:"No, wait. Are you telling me the truth?"
K:"i...i...yes its the truth"
L:"No" (or u cant idk)
K:"Pardon?"
L:"I said no"
