what a great time to be alive! these days there are increasingly better and better 18+ het smut webtoons with vibrant and diverse female characters that dont read like picture perfect mary sue’s. i’m so happy about this and happy to finally find a good rendition of one of my favorite tropes - childhood friends to lovers xD
i was captivated by this webtoon so i bingeread the webnovel and i can tell the novel is so well-done. even after the translation, the flow of the prose is still so poetic … i would recommend the webnovel to anyone who’s very curious of how the story will go ~

somewho get the feeling that both of the mcs are kind of stuck at this state of arrested development (lol), and at the very least both of them are still stuck struggling about their identity as an adult person even almost a decade later (then again i think there was that chapter where both of them assured the little girl that its ok to be an outcast bc both of them were it lol). with the child coming into the picture, these two strangers finally have another chance to meet again (what a plot!). and i guess for me, i like the fact that the mc is hella talented and cool, just unsure abt his path in life (surprisingly common at 27) … and also like, all this time as it turns out the validation he’s been chasing is from this dude from a decade ago lol. i mean yeah ideally that should have come from himself but yk its kinda sweet that he subconsciously still thinks abt him.
as for the black haired dude … im curious abt what he’s actually like as a person, still such a mystery. i wonder how many chapters we’re gonna have for this
