.... .... the ending is heartbreaking but I do like how the story has been written. from what I have seen around, the author is going to release some side stories or perhaps another season this spring. cannot wait!
luan was fed up with the amount of people who came to find him while untruthfully claiming to be his childhood friend. so when the real one went to find him, luan didn’t recognise him. he considered him a fraud and ordered his guards to beat him up; the ml was thus harshly and wrongfully beaten up. after that, luan meets his servant, the elderly man we see in the flashbacks, who has been delivering luan’s letters to the main lead all these years. I am not sure of what they talk about since the dialogue is in korean but luan learns that the one he met previously was his best friend and not someone random. he then goes to the ml’s house to apologise for what he has done and he finds him all battered up. the ml lies about his identity and says that he himself was a fraud.
