Ok, so this is basically it: Raine's Fiance Died so he adopted a vampire child named Joel because Vampires are immortal (So Raine would never have to loose someone again), Raine also has sex with a male vampire prostitute because he's lonely but when the prostitute try's to kill him Joel has to save him. Joel then drinks more of Raine's blood and gets his adult form. Raine and Joel then start dating.
