Don’t know what to say.

Both Khoel and Kavier or how you spell either of their names, needs to get some couple therapy.
I mean he’s lived through 1500 years, found somebody that loved him and him harbouring feelings for that person as well. But in the end he really said, nah, I like my old lover. I guess it’s kind of sweet, but nah.

Heil is also a menace to society, gosh darn he’s insecure and how he was introduced. The whole story is sort of a catfish “the god of pains groom” yet in the end

Yet in the end he ended up with the reaper. I hate what’s her name? Lida, ila? The nature girl.

I though it was kind of sad how we never got to know more about the first river, his first ancestor. We never got to know if he ever got free, was it Khoel who cut his tongue off or was it himself in an act of loyalty? To say I’m not interested in him is a lie and I wished we got to know more about him, same with Hela. Who was her mother? How old is she? and how did she find out the whole soul thing and taught nature girl?

And why is it always river who’s suffering. Like damn, it’s not a single day he hasn’t suffered.

Overall, I liked passing my time with this 4/5

As much as the plot was cliche, I still love it ^^ most of this series has a lot cliche protagonist things, but at the same time not. What differs this main characters from others like— K*rito from s*o is that we actually get to see the progression of him levelling up. Usually what happens to these overpowered main characters is they get their power and boom! Automatically knows how to use it. That’s why when our lively protagonist from this story gets overpowered it feels deserved. Though I have to admit, the ending wasn’t really my taste and some subtle jabs here and there didn’t fit in with me that well. I would certainly say that this is one of the better written stories I’ve read ^^

I would definitely want new readers to get into it and enjoy it as much as I did. The world building and characters are a joy, sure it mainly focuses on our hero, it still has it moments with side characters. To share my favourite arc, it has to be the ant arc. The build up, the pacing and the ant themselves and conclusion was all too satisfying. Loved every moment!

If only Daniel wasn’t dead, I would’ve easily settled for him lol but honestly though, this is so entertaining
