Definitely not enough, tbh he isn't that bad, and he never played with mc, he was always clear with him, but I think what makes it not enough is how he continuously degraded the mc, using him for sex, and even when mc almost got raped, he called him names and had sex with him. It's been a long time, so we forgot how uncomfortable it felt, but I don't think anything is enough to make up for that. Not that I don't want them to end together.
I know people can be awful, but really? Damn the alpha reached a point of no return. So disgusted with him. He should’ve just let the beta go when he asked to leave.
But if this story ends with the beta alone but happy, I would be happy bc he doesn’t deserve this.

Honestly, I appreciate the translations but I just feel like the dialogue is a little off bc they’re trying to convey a poetic message but the story never had a poetic angle until now. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
Ok, I thought it was just me. It’s like there’s a whole new writer. Or the writer didn’t know how to finish the story before that long hiatus and wound up going off in a whole different direction.
Ok I was worried I would get a lot of hate for my comment. Yes! I really feel like the author is trying to hit different genres but i would’ve enjoyed it if they stuck with the original path. Like I know there was a supernatural element to the story but bringing up Cain’s dog history all of the sudden… and this soft, angsty story line with silhouette of bare trees — are we reading the same story from many years ago…
Please note: I’m not trying to diss the author or translation in any way- I’m just confused that’s all :(
Cain will most likely came back into frame because him and Jooin didn't have closure. Idk to me the dialouge sounded fine
I actually expected the history of Cain and Jooin’s former life to be mentioned because that’s something that’s been set up from the beginning. It’s the poetic narration and long tangents that seem off to me. Maybe the writer is showing Jooin working through his thoughts to make the rest of the story make sense? Idk, the writing just feels different now. Truthfully I started catching myself skimming certain parts and had to make myself go back and reread.
And I don’t hate it, it just feels like the writers original plan for the story might have changed during the break, and the first half and the second half are not merging seamlessly. (Hope this makes sense. I’m having a hard time finding just the right words)
Woojoo is so soft and fluffy that I feel bad for him. He is even willing to accept Inha if he “betrays him down the line” bc he’s everything he has. Sigh. Inha is sweet and naive but doesn’t deserve woojoo yet. (〜￣△￣)〜

I really doubt the author will have Jaekyung chase kim dan. I don’t think he will be the loving partner kim dan deserves. I almost wish he got with the actor (even though he’s not great). Can’t this story have a down to earth 2nd ML that he can end up with —bc Kim Dan is adorable and deserves the best. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

But the art is beautiful. Even under the eye, the way the eye bags are drawn. The emotion through the brows. Very nice.
