Kagi isn't the problem with the touch, and the fact Hirano decided to try and find another way to show his affection is proof that even if his "romantic" feeling isn't the same, he cares a LOT. There are always fellow aro/ace people talking in here about how obviously he's One Of Us and it looks true. Just because "romantic attraction" as you know it isn't there doesn't mean romance and love aren't there. You or anyone else aren't lesser for not experiencing it the same way.
Anyway, Hirano is uncomfortable with another person initiating touch with intent beyond what he understands, and we know he isn't used to touch Like That. He has zero trouble with the affection when he initiates or when he has control of it. The hug isn't the problem. The form it takes is. Him "connecting" that his experience of feelings is different even though he also wants to do things and be close to Kagi is a positive thing. It's not a rejection, nor is it stringing Kagi along. It's just a different way of experiencing love.

Comments are funny because there's complaining about this being a rip of Sayonara Alpha but this doujin was done like two years earlier and clearly the mangaka liked the idea enough to explore the concept of "meeting too soon" with original characters. In this, they were distant enough from canon Eren and Levi to basically just be names. Nothing wrong with taking an idea you've had and redoing it, but better, with more depth to it.

the only part of omegaverse that exists in every version of omegaverse is the existence of the terms "alpha" and "omega" to describe secondary characteristics. let the author play with gender as they see fit. nontraditional and nonconforming omegaverse that explores dysfunction and different conditions? gucci. does and should exist. we need more of it. I, specifically, need more of it for my research because it contributes to my data. if you are not into it, simply do not whine about it, and go read one with elements you do like. it is not that hard. pls.
thanks uploading team you da bess

I haven’t read this yet I’m just looking thru the comments but I can’t believe people cannot comprehend that authors would want to play with character roles and dynamics in the universe that is very well known for its rigid and defined social hierarchy lol god forbid we explore new things and subvert tropes

I didn't touch the comments on this until after reading it in full. Good choice because some of y'all need to calm tc down. It's rare we even get a title that handles the age and life experience gap in a believable, practical way.
It's fiction, it's well-done, the art gets an entire glow-up midway through, the uncomfortable subject matter of the age gap is handled tastefully, this mangaka's consistent in doing this type of stuff well, and even if irl we would be weirded out that doesn't make the comic bad.
Has at least 2 other parts. Someone's put them on nhentai and other places before. They're a cute couple
