Am I the only one who actually enjoys the portrayal of an emotionally unavailable guy who never had a connection with his feelings? I had multiple friends like this (didn’t know what they felt, didn’t know when they were hungry etc) and while in real life he‘d absolutely need therapy, it makes an interesting story, at least for me.
totally!! i think it’s also interesting because she absolutely is standing her ground. she is demanding an explanation and only accepting one good enough. he’s not an ideal boyfriend but i think he’s been treated like less than someone to be taken seriously (by girls in the past) and childhood experiences really change you in a semi-permanent way. Can’t wait to see him redeem himself and change (without doing any serious damage cuz otherwise bleh). rant over but basically it’s an interesting concept
