This artist sure knows how to handle his brushes... The story is extremely vague and standstill, but the watery backgrounds are so fabulous and authentically Chinese, it makes up for everything.

In my language, "they have long toes" would be an idiom to say "they are easily offended". These little girls literally have long toes.
I jumped for joy at the news of an update of 'Bestia'. I expected an other chapter of these fabulously beautiful drawings! Turns out to be a completely different, much more banal adventure manga. It would be good on it's own, but it's a total dissapointment when you're expecting Ikegami Ryoichi's art...
This is probably understandable for Japanese from Kansai, but I don't get it
they were probably from another region.
I mean the whole story... there's too little script apart from that Kansai thing. To become understandable or enjoyable to everyone, a comic kind of needs a script, doesn't it? Sometimes mangaka seem to forget all about the script...
