Could you please explain the arc they skipped? Very curious did the ML chase the MC after MC decided to leave him and stuff like the usual? Was he nice? Did he treat him well? Did MC find someone else there and the ML chasing dude was just for the revenge/justice for the og body owner?

Oh the arc they skipped is poor highschool ML x Rich Highschool mc + amnesia trope

Basically ML and MC dated when they were in highschool but ML is poor and MC's spoiled brother is jealous of MC so he told MC's parents MC 's relationship. MC's dad is homophobic so he threatens MC to break up with ML or he will destroy ML's future so MC broke up with him and ML did not take that break up peacefully

So time skip, MC's is now adult and his family business is struggling as it's almost going bankrupt so he attended a banquet dinner full of investors to find an investor for their company and He found ML there he is now some big shot pharma company CEO MC avoided ML since he knows ML hates him. But ML drugged MC's drink and he raped him and recorded it, he used it to blackmail MC and for his revenge against MC

So he used the video to threatens MC into having more sex relationship with him. Eventually MC's friend found out about it and was gonna help him but ML showed up and hit his friend with a bottle friend became unconscious and he kidnaps MC then he took MC to his company's lab and inject MC some drug to make him have amnesia in MC 's amnesia he was told that ML is his fiance so he kept calling ML husband and they have like a ideal lovey dovey relationship for few months then ML found out the truth about their break up so he was getting anxious and guilty because if MC gets his memories back MC will leave. So he pushed their wedding and eventually they got married but few weeks later MC regained his memories so MC ran away but ML's dog found him and was dragged back to ML's house So ML was apologizing to MC but MC was mad at him since he put MC through a lot before, ML eventually let MC stay in his parents house. At first ML doesn't wanna divorce MC having that mindset that it doesn't matter if MC hates him as long as he stays as MC's husband after MC's words and ignoring him he eventually have gave in to signing divorce papers.

Well MC's mom talked to MC and eventually MC forgives ML and they didn't get divorce, he moved out from his parents house and lived with ML.

Ohh I forgot the brother had his punishment too but I forgot what it was, it was something ML arranged I forgot sorry. This arc was one of the long ones in the novel and one of the most toxic ones

Dammmm it’s always the jealous person and the parents thankfully the brother got his punishment and MC and ML resolved their misunderstanding ML took it too farrr criminal he gotta be punished frfr but over all not that bad

There is also the brother in law x sister in law one I liked that one too lol that one he mistook the target and married the awful brother of the ML, so ML was trying his best to steal him
