Some people do continue after a scandal but when the media coverage is not big. Here wonho's career took a huge blow. I expect more on this. How did he get all these castings even after the scandal? Why people will want to use him? No matter how good he is, he is not expected to sell that much now.
It really depends on a lot of things. Wonho has a great back up/supporter behind him. Eunwoo is pretty influential in the industry and he has lots important connection. Secondly, a good PR on your side. Most entertainment media can be bought, and money is not a problem for Eunwoo. They can strategize a "new image" for Wonho.
In real life example, look up to Sashihara Rino of AKB48. Her scandal was considered shameful in Japan, other idol would probably have already resigned in shame. But she and her team could turn the table around and instead the scandal catapult her into stardom, she became the only idol in AKB with huge scandal to consistently be #1 and bigger than AKB due to international support. Like Wonho, it took her about a year or two quiet time and demotion to HKT48 (a barely new group at the time) and public humiliation too after the scandal. Some people rumored, Sashii has the most loyal support from fan(s) who is ultra rich.
Yes i agree and that's what i want to see in the manga, eunwoo's struggles to revive wonho's career that can serve also as a retribution for eunwoo. I am hoping that it wont be just it. We did a contract with him and people requested him, the end.
As for sashihara rino, i never understood japan's views fof idols. What i read about it, is that the scandal was that shd had a relationship at some point.... like most of people....i am not a big fan of pop music so i never follow the groups but wtf? Wonho was selling his body, whiich is way more scandalous!

And I was kind of following AKB becoz my bf liked one of the girls lol back then when Sashii scandal blew up, Japanese idol industry prohibits an idol or actor or actress to have romantic relationship especially in the peak of their career, and it was a sacred rule agreed by fans too. So if an idol have secret relationship and get caught, they have to resign from the group and condemned by fans and Japan's society in general. The end of an idol's career. A lot of them had a dead stop of their rising career just because they were in love. For exampe Jin and Misa Kuroki and Sashii's colleague Minami Minegishi (she even punished herself and cut her hair bald and published the video just so she can be forgiven by fans, she managed to stay in AKB but she stayed as background girl). Basically, the no-relationship rule was (and is still?) a huge deal because for fans and Japanese society, an idol is someone who is angelic, pure, and their only career purpose is to please fans, in return fans will pay for everything merch, cd, watch movie to show their support.
Sashii's scandal was pretty huge back then cause AKB was most famous and biggest girl group in Japan and the world at the time, so they received a lot of local and international attention. She was a rising idol and her scandal was not only she's in love but she was said to be aggressive in bed, there were photos of her showing boobs in her bed lol. Sashii did something very shameful, some sort of breaking taboo and foreign for Japanese and fans.
