I dunno, there are quite a lot of titles that are shounen-ai and that I enjoy a lot. My problem here is that it's taking the bad tropes from shoujo and applying them here. Someone in the comments said it better but the drama to drag on the story or how Taichi is more like a high school girl.
Actually, even yaoi titles sometimes do this and I don't like it then either.

What bothers me is that as soon as a guy isn't used to relationship, panics and mess up then bam "it's so shoujo because hell only girls are supposed to behave this way, every guy should have the guts to take the lead and be used to things !"
Hell in fact a lot of guys behave this way in BL but most of the time it's forgotten because the seme rape them and they get used to it while in this case Taichi behave normally for a lost and anxious guy.

It's also pissing me off how only Taichi is taking the blame even though they're both doing things wrong, Kouhei keeps everything to himself, sulk, hide things, let's be honest without Taichi realising Kouhei's feelings Kouhei wouldn't have acted on it.
Kouhei is insecure and jealous about Chiba because of HIS OWN problem, not because of the way Taichi acted since what did Taichi do wrong with Chiba ?
Kouhei is the one drawing a line between Taichi and himself.

They both need to talk, Taichi about how he's just new and shy and inexperienced and most of all scared and Kouhei about how insecure he is about everything and about his lover's feelings (we all know Taichi would immediately reassure Kouhei if he knew) but yes ofc Kouhei is a poor little victim with no blame and Taichi is supposed to read his mind when Kouhei doesn't even look at him when he's thinking about something.

I love them but at this point if Kouhei can't trust Taichi after knowing how Taichi is then he should breakup. Their relationship is going against a wall because of BOTH of them.

The most of bl rated as shounen ai I've read is tagged like this because the lack of explicit sex scenes in it. Ive found just a few of shojoish bl and when I say shoujoish is because they have the dull cliches wich plague this genre and boring. The most of sweet and fluffy shounen ai that Ive read are way far from a the average boring shoujo manga. An example, Mayonake no darling. If someone can point me a shoujo or even josei manga that can be compared to that manga, funny, cute, adorable and sexy at the same time, please tell me, I'd appreciate it. Woman characters in mangas are not written a interesting.

It's also really important to remember that this wasn't even going to be a love story at first. She had to make it one when someone told her to. Hence the focus being more on the plot than relationship progression. The relationship is more of a tool to drive the plot rather than the other way around.

In some point you guys are right, but then as I was saying, this is shounen-ai. They will drag the story and even the characters too because they need to. Too bad this started so nice and promising but I guess, it turned the other way around of what we are expecting. It's still ongoing tho, let's just see what will happen to this shoujo. (⌒▽⌒)

Okay, on this I COMPLETELY agree with you. And I quite often let the negativity get to me on here and elsewhere as you might have guessed from my previous rant I gave in reply to you. I hope it wasn't too offensive because I will stand by the content of it no matter what. Because although I may rant it is not my intention to be offensive but I have a hard time gathering my thoughts as it is already (because of my learning disability), trying to gather my thoughts and try to be as unoffensive as possible at the same time and most likely not being able to succeed as real life has shown me will most often be the case, is just too exhausting for me.
