I teared up when Kiuchi confessed his dream. I've also been depressed and directionless for years. But unlike Kiuchi, I never had something I was really good at, successful at, and then lost. I've often wished I had that, but now I think it's a small mercy. It must be more painful.
The fact that the mangaka experienced depression herself is evident, because the portrayal of a depressed person is so realistic. At first, I couldn't connect with Kiuchi because he always smiles but remains very detached. But now I think it's good writing that his inner thoughts weren't shown. That's exactly how it feels to observe a fellow depressed person.
I like Nakajou's line, where he says he hopes Kiuchi meets someone other than him, because he can never find the right words to cheer him up when he's feeling down. Because the thing with depression is that meds and therapy may help, but the only person who can get you out of it is yourself.
Sometimes good advice, coddling, or scolding won't help, but what always helps is knowing that someone stays by your side, knowing you are unwell but treating you normally and waiting for you to emerge from that darkness on your own. It's been hard. Let's all hang in there.

Did his cousins really rape him? Are they going to be punished in the future? Has anyone read the novel, please spoil us if Iljo is finally going to be happy and get justice. I used to hate Jeonghan, but now that their feelings are mutual, I just hope they stay together. He's the only one in that family to care for Iljo, even if he's still a b*stard. No wonder Iljo fell for him.

In chapter 2, page 17, it says Minato is underage so he's drinking iced tea. Kagami (seme) is a pedophile and groomer without morals. I've read all kinds of yaoi, so I am not posting this comment to stop you from reading. But just to remind people (especially the minors reading in this website) of what's right and wrong. No decent, righ-thinking mature adult would date a minor. It doesn't matter whether they are 30 or 22. You'll understand when you reach this age how wrong it is.
Avoid and run as far away as possible from people like Kagami. No matter how kind they seem or how sad their backstory is. No, they don't love you. Separate reality and fiction. Take care of yourself.
The art is beautiful so it's a shame.

Minato isn't underage, he's in university. When that escort guy met Minato, they were both on campus (the escort guy told Kagami he might've met Minato on campus, and there's a panel that shows the word university cut off). He is not of legal drinking age, so I'm assuming he's probably 18-20 (idk what the legal drinking age is in Japan). I wouldn't say Kagami is a pedophile, but he's definitely a groomer with the way he treats Minato. He's like those male celebs in their 40s or 30s who mostly date younger female celebs (usually in their 20s). Minato is at least a legal adult tho so ig Kagami isn't a pedo

I only based my comment on what's written on the page—that he's underage. However, if he's around 18-20, then yes, Kagami is a groomer but not technically a pedophile. Thank you for the correction.
Still, a 30-year-old dating someone that age lacks morals. I posted my comment because I see many underage readers here who might romanticize dating adults in real life.

You're trying to preach to a group of children who aren't even supposed to be here about "ethical sex and relationships" when you should be telling them that they shouldn't be in R-18 spaces to begin with.
Also, it isn't up to a pornography writer to teach someone else's child on how to have a healthy relationship. That should be up to their parents or guardians, not a gay porn artist.

how about you discourage children who cannot comprehend or seperate fantasies from reality from reading 18+ work instead.
if someone underaged is reading this shit and ignoring all 18+ barriers, do you think they'd listen to some random life lesson under a yaoi manga?
especially not from someone who couldn't even understand that page in the proper context and just jumped to conclusions.

-I may have gotten the age wrong, but seme is still a groomer with no morals. No need to get angry at a comment that's a "random life lesson under a yaoi manga".

The guy is 18 so he's not a minor actually, 18-year-olds can't drink yet. I agree that this age gap is crazy, but the age gap would've been a lot worse if the guy was 16 since authors have a bad habit of making it between a 16 and an adult age gap. By the way, I haven't actually read this manga, but I looked at the comment section and was curious about the age gap, so I looked at the pages of the manga and saw that he was 18, and I thought it was much worse. Yeah, the seme should find someone his age, but at least he's not wanting to do sexual stuff with a minor person. The age gap is still insane, yes, but I'm glad the author didn't make the guy still in High School
Yes, this manga is toxic, but we're still here hoping Jaekyung will start groveling and have character development. I also wish Dan hadn't done that, but remember, he still has a debt to pay. This is similar to what happened in BJ Alex. Dan will be more detached from Jaekyung, and hopefully, that's when Jaekyung will finally start to change. But this time, the groveling arc needs to be longer and better written than in BJ Alex, because it seems impossible to redeem Jaekyung. I don't know if the author will be able to write it convincingly, but I hope she does.
I just wish Dan will be happy. He needs someone to help him cope when his grandma dies, but I hope the two of them get together before that—not because of that.
