I can understand why people really like these two stories, but honestly I was bored to death and dropped them. Also, I disliked every single character in What Does The Fox Say; they were annoying af.

Yeah, the art is improving, but the storyline is pretty basic. I really hope the artist comes up with a better idea for her next project after Jinx. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

If you like comedic GLs set in high school with a wholesome, slow-burn romance, then Tamen De Gushi is perfect - it's pretty much fluff only with some minor drama sprinkled in.

On the other hand, What Does The Fox Say? is a bit like a soap-opera: convoluted and dramatic plot points with shallow and unlikeable characters, an intense love triangle and tons of smut.

Honestly, give them a try - they're a good introduction into the GL genre, I just personally couldn't bring myself to like them, but maybe you will?

It's abt a boy who's used by this guys and they decided to give him to his old man to train him, he does a lot of crazy shit to him
Like starting training his nipples and at some point putting syrup on them then putting a ton of bugs on him and leaving all night like that
Putting him on the other side of a one side glass on his ship with a machine fcking him not stop
Bringing a beast and leaving it there w him, the beast trying to fck him and when he hide from it he got put on those "bitch suits" and left again w the beast fcking him all night. While he was passed out the old man put a big egg inside and next morning he made him "gave birth" to it and told him he was special and could get pregnant (just to mess w his head)

Oh my gosh, I swear that story was so horrible it traumatized me. After that, I started avoiding toxic manhwa completely and only read fluffy ones with green flag MLs and MCs. KS was actually my first BL manhwa, and yeah, like you said, the plot is good, even though it's toxic. I don't really mind if the author wants to create a toxic story, but at least make it with a plot that makes sense? manhwa like No Reason and Non-Zero Sum are just pure torture .

I might get a lot of hate for this, but…. How to Get My Husband on My Side I’m sorry I really liked it at first, but then the plot turned into a whole pity party. It was exhausting to read I felt like every character was assaulting the fl for no reason like the plot became so predictable and I felt like the art style changed a bit as well like they made her more cute and childish appearance which didn’t help with the storyline it kept reminding us that she was just an innocent fragile petite poor kitten who needs to be saved every single chapter and the fact that the male lead is 10 times bigger than her and built like a gorilla also doesn’t help.

No. If you want a full on depth then it's because the ML is always forcing himself on the mc and there barely even a story or a plot. If you want to read something that has sex, sex, sex, and sex then do as you please but if your actually looking for a.story with amazing plot then this is not it. People tend to forget, a good bl doesn't need sex to be a good bl. A one bl story is one with a plot and great arc.

Is not worth the time to read. The only reason it’s so hyped is because of the gorgeous art. The relationship between the main characters lacks proper development. They barely get to know each other before the ML forces a kiss on the MC, then suddenly assumes they're dating and constantly forces himself on them. Just because the ML is strong and has a tragic backstory doesn’t justify his behavior or make it romantic. Saving the MC from bullying or other situations doesn’t make their relationship any less uncomfortable to read. Not to mention her other works which involves grooming.

The story lacks a meaningful plot or character development. If you’re looking for engaging arcs, and a compelling story, this is not it. The focus is so heavily on sex that it completely overshadows everything else. That's the only reason why it also so popular. The art and the sex. I mean what else is good about this shit? In my opinion there are far better BL stories out there, this one simply doesn’t live up to the hype.
