My dude has huge abandonment issues, his parents died and then his older brother (with good intentions but horrible common sense) leaves him too. The trauma of your parents dying and your older brother willingly going away right after, can make anyone have issues of self image.
Now I get why he was doing anything the alpha wanted, he doesn't feel worthy of love and alpha did prove him he doesn't deserve love because he's a beta. I know Omega is quite devious in his plan but at the same time he knows what he wants, regardless of their designations and the "rules" you have to abide. He loves beta because he teached him that their designations don't matter, omega wants to make him happy and also feels alpha is not the one for the job.
I was thinking the story was getting stagnant but this chapter was good to me. Now i need alpha realizing his omega and his beta are the ones together.
