Me too like if its not more than 40 then i wont read it yet but honestly sometimes waiting gets me impatient and i read it immediately for example The hunter wants to live quietly. If I'm not mistaken Guideverse is a subgenre similar to Omegaverse where instead of alpha/omega/beta, there are guides and esper. It's a particular subgenre that is leaning towards Action Fantasy bl.

Smut BL are more commonly known as Yaoi, and non smutty BL are Shounen Ai

The other person has previously explained it, but the degree of intimacy varies depending on how much the author wants to alter it naturally, if they want fan service/smut, they can just use the “sex = guiding”excuse for that happen.
