At the end of chapter 53, why does Dokja say he "hates this" when he's in Joonghyuk's point of view?

Well, they have to cut on the novel a bit to make this manhua and at this point in time his relation with Joonghyuk isn't really explained but if you want an explanation borderline spoiler here it is :
You see, our suicidal protagonist sees Joonghyuk as his brother, someone very close who helped him during hard times since it felt like Joonghyuk was just next to him when reading the novel. However it doesn't mean MC loves Joonghyuk unconditionally : I don't know if you have siblings but since Joonghyuk is a bit of a brother to him he has a rocky relationship with him. So even if does care about Joonghyuk, there is also a lot of things he actually dislike in Joonghyuk, especially his thought process. So of course he wouldn't like being "assimilated" with him through the third stage of his skill. Tbh I would hate to be in this situation with my sister ^^
Well I hope I resolved your question and this is just how I understood from both the reading the novel and the manhua so I could be in the wrong.

Why is every webtoon I'm reading cut off in the middle of panels?! I'm so frustrated, this is the fifth time I'm reading a webtoon with this problem! #-.-)

Hi! You can stop this problem by clicking on the three lines on the top of the screen and clicking on "Multi pages" make sure to turn off show gap as well, this will make it so all the pages will load up on one screen so you dont have to click and just scroll, it'll also mean no cut off panels. Hope that helps! :)

Why are they cutting out so much from the novel?! I actually wanted to see the hospital scenes when Thomas woke up and thought about how much he respected Jin-Woo and when Jin-Woo visited Jin-Ho before they went to the Night of the Hunters. The manhwa is rushing too much ╥﹏╥

But it was better in the novel, details matter, especially Thomas' scene, reading this chapter just made Thomas almost out of character because manhwa readers don't know his thought process that the novel showed in the hospital scene when he wakes up. In that scene, he thought about how he lost and it was humbling for him to be put in a hospital bed. He was in awe and respect of Jin-Woo's strength. When he finds out there were no other casualties other than Hwang Dong-Su, he was shocked and confused and couldn't stop questioning why the Scavenger Guild wasn't killed. I'm really disappointed how much the manhwa is cutting out, and they're ALL good parts of the novel. I'm sad to say it but season two is really down-graded compared to season 1. I still love it and will keep reading it but I'm glad I read the novel beforehand for context that's not even included in the manhwa.

I'm more frustrated because of how faithful to the novel the manhwa was in season 1 compared to season 2. They've only really cut out more and more scenes after starting season 2. It makes me more worried for other manhwas adapted from novels, like another one I'm reading Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint that's really accurate to the novel right now but might not be later ┗( T﹏T )┛

I WAS LITERALLY JUST READING THE NOVEL OF THIS HOLY SHI-

I'm reading it on Wuxiaworld, it hasn't updated for months though ╥﹏╥ https://wuxiaworld.site/novel/i-will-make-an-effort-to-change-the-genre/

What does it mean to curse someone in death? It's probably important since even Nanami mentioned it in his death, but I don't know what that means ╥﹏╥ Someone please explain

Pretty sure a person dying wish can also be called as a curse. In normal world, if the dead is dear to us then we're bound to fulfill their dying wish. Yet curses also exists. Lets take all the tragic villainess ending yea? they curse the person who was responsible for their death and in this case(jjk) the principal cursed the idk the old man name so now, he needs to continue the curse till his death if im not wrong.
This chapter was so inconsistent, why did they just shift pov to a different character?? I want to see what happens with the ML and FL finally seeing each other! And I honestly felt super irritated with Noelle, she's so irrational. Why would she just openly admit to a wing that's loyal to the saintess-my-ass that she has no loyalty to her?? That's just asking for trouble and it's already biting her in the ass when she's trying to help Enoch. I really like this manhwa but this chapter was just unsatisfying. It felt so rushed and like they were trying to cramp too much into one chapter. ( ̄へ ̄)
She said herself that he loves him? So she probably blindly trusted him
