The "lovers misunderstanding eachother" trope is so tired. Like surely more drama can be thought up surrounding a couple besides them literally NOT communicating with eachother. Frustrating.
Also im about to try and isekai myself into this story just to smack the hell out of Cliff and tbh the rest of the fam. Edith has been nothing but kind and the Ruddy fam just stays keeping her at arms length. I know I know it's the influence of the story but they are some of the most thick in the head bunch of bitches ever.
I understand, but there are times where the primary characters have realized somethings amiss but then they just brush it off. Like the mom with the necklace. She was like "why tf would I do that?" Then nothing comes from that train of thought. Or maybe just not yet.
Sure like FL said "the more important in the story = the more they're affected" but it seems like ML is the only one who questions his immediate "Edith is a POS" vibe after very clearly seeing that she isn't a POS.
You know, I hate miscommunication tropes. Specially when it can be solved with just a minute pause and just saying what needs to be said. But I will defend Edith on this one. But not him. He can go kick rocks because imo the issue is his fault. But Edith, She can't trust him with the truth. He has proven himself untrustworthy and he's right now one of the few people who don't hold animosity towards her so it's fair that she wants to hold on to that however superficial the relationship might be. I understand why she won't communicate. She doesn't feel safe. And that's why I think Killian can go kick rocks. Sure he's "trying" but quite honestly, I haven't seen him do much other than spend time with her. But given what he did to her, he should be doing more. I.E. talking about his suspicions. Being a bit more vulnerable. Freaking stop being so cryptic about blondie.
Sorry for my rant. I'm anggy
I would so love to take over & get with the assistance long hair guy who is so sweet & just run away but ik that won't stop the fl from suffering so I'll take my revenge, get divorce (ik he's improving & was being controlled but I can't stand how the fl stays w/ the guy that offeds her & marry the long hair guy)
I understand Ray is the ML but ugh. Like even if he "wasn't going to show love" to FL during their marriage he still treated her like shit. Like not even as just a romantic partner. Just as a person in general. Like she miscarried and he just stares at her? Also he was a fuckin prick in general. Like you don't have to LOVE someone to be kind to them. Wtf.
I'm now just reading cause I need resolution, but I hate Ray.
I agree with you that he should’ve been more courageous in his care for her but we have to remember he was emotionally stunted from the brutal death of his mother and subsequent rise to power I think the author wanted to showcase that these issues caused him to deter from focusing on what was really important (his marriage to Elijah) but because he didn’t know how to best convey he hurt her forcefully so and instead sought out ways without her so I give him a bit of reach but not too much
Can someone just spoil it for me please? I just need something to carry me to the end. Like please is our girl gonna be happy in the end? Like is she gonna "die" one time? Also is ANYONE ELSE actually gonna face consequences???
Spoler:
She will have 2 kids
Spoiler:
She's gonna be happy and the other bitch is gonna be miserable in a convent. She will want to die but you'll see.
Omg ty so much. OK I'll hang in there...
