I'm happy with the final pair up (would've been fine with either option) but i wish they gave an epilogue or something to show that he becomes close friends with the other guy again at some point. They had too good of a friendship to just end it because of unrequited love
That’s what I thought too!! I feel like black hair should’ve had a small arc where they work on becoming friends again and black-hair finds a new love, or just an epilogue where they are friends again. Especially because they had such a good friendship. Back a couple years ago I used to actually have a pretty nice body and face, (now i’m obese and have acne but i’m getting into skincare and starting to work out again so that problem should be solved easily but that’s besides the point) and I’ve personally rejected 4 of my close friends and we still were able to stay close, get together, and have sleepovers. All I had to do was give them space for a bit and be conscious of my actions around them for a bit (ex. no joke flirting, no skin contact, go light on the compliments, etc) and then after a week or two we were good and could be normal again. I really feel like they could’ve done a good story or something because their friendship is too important to loose over a confession and romantic feelings.
