I like this character. He's not a coward, he is just not a heroic character. He is staying true and living his life for himself which is what is supposed to be. You'll understand his views when you already what rl really is and just how cruel the world is. You can only control what you can control. This is the real staying low-key and OP looks like. (づ￣ ³￣)づ
They are arranged couple, so the s*x with the mc and her is husband is like obligation for the mc and not what she want(noncon). She doesn't mind her husband having a lover at all and would not want to have sexual relationship with the husband if she can.
I do understand the comments saying the author is fetishizing this. Yup, we see that. It's icky but this is still well written and very detailed. Tho I can imagine this whole story started because of... Haha I'm gonna end it there.

I like that the author made the mc overcome her depression in her previous life. That made her a levelheaded character. It's also normal for her to be oblivious of the changes of the other characters since her pov is based on the novel. I like her and I want her to have a warm and sincere interaction with her adopted family in the future.

Sorry, I'm not very good with words and I kind off forgot the forgot the story a bit but have you feel depressed and no one to talk to because they don't understand you (you know because you already tried to express it before) so you just escape through reading manga/webtoons every single day just to feel other emotions you can't feel in rl. When you read a bunch of stuff you also develop your perception of things and you might have not heal and went numb but its better that way...... Sorry I need to stop here. But yeah, she's a strong character

We still don't know if Philip is totally not involved in Jennie's case. But what I would like to know more is how would the two of them do with their feelings for each other. I really like this manga. I picture my work to be like this with all the details and back stories and assimilation of fiction to reality. Unfortunately, I was not bless with patience and wisdom to pursue this dream. Anyway, I was derailed frome my train of thoughts... Wow. I feel like I got influence after ... and it's gone. I recommend author's other work, Zutto kimi no turn. Same setting as this one and the MC here is just a background character but the couple in zutto are adorable.
