Thereās so many ways this can go Like KEI said, the cat could find the poison ā our boy was like āattachments are badā to the cat but it was obviously him warning himself but could be a double entendre. The poison could be found by someone else and he is forced/chased out which leads the ML to go look for him. MC could successfully poison ML but (assuming his high position he would have experience with poison) it could not affect him. MC could hesitate as well giving an opening for ML. Although the ML totally knows that MC will try to kill him, he just has feelings for him so he doesnāt want to do anything to stop him. I think MC will definitely try to end his life after his attempt fails/is chased out, or something else happpens, or he believes he succeeded, which gives us too much ANGST GIRL. There could be the chance that that doesnāt happen at all and the creepy purple guy from before goes after him but heās not that dumb and knows his position.
