Sometimes it's not the author who decides that but the editor. Some stories get cut in the middle of actions and obligated to finish. Don't blame the author too much for it, but I agree that they could have handled the ending better or cut off some parts to make it 40 chapters

Girl if you want to earn a place to complain go and actually buy all the manhwa and invest on it, then you earn to complain a little because of the money & and still this story was written well, if you don’t like the ending don’t read it, these authors go thought so much stress and are pressure by due this, you don’t know nun of that so sit down. Plus she can make a side story of development in the couple, she just needs time, me as a cleaner it literally takes me like 3-4 days just to clean the text out and in manga even more, imagine making a whole plot line, drawing, typing and having pressure of due dates and then people like you not even appreciating that smh.
