Ah.. After reading the afterword, I kind of got the confirmation that waki did indeed love rikiichi. But there could never be a physical relationship between them because their love was already past the physical. that was why they vowed to be with each other.
but waki kept magane's fang out of his affection for the unconditional love he received from him when he was a wolf. he unknowingly created magane into a kami and his affection for him grew.
That was why even though magane would often say that the most important for him was rikiichi (although waki was also important to him), waki never got angry at rikiichi and accepted the state that they had with mixed feelings in his heart. he could never feel bitter about it, but it was hard for him to completely feel happiness. But he wanted things to stay as they were for the people that he loved.
The one that he loved (with whom he felt the urge to posses--magane) loved the person whom he loved with his everything (rikiichi). He loved them both but they were different kinds of love.
I really love this manga. I really would wish that there were omakes. heheh.

gomen, i didn't mean to. but this manga leaves a bitter sweet feeling for me. it wasn't just waki who got heart broken when rikiichi died. rikiichi is the type of guy who can make the people around him love him without trying too hard.

You're welcome. I actually felt sorry for waki because he lost both of his loves at the same time. all that was left of him was the promise that he made with rikiichi. and those words that rikiichi spoke bound him not only because of rikiichi's kotodama powers but because of waki's love for him.
it made him bitter that was why he said mean words about not being able to get the same kami after himi and asari died. it was his own fear of not getting his old magane back if ever he chose to resurrect him that was talking.
right now, i really want some extra chapters. huhu.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think the uke told that seme that it was a test when he went out with Ami-chan. he felt hurt that the seme did not object and even congratulated him. and the uke also mentioned about something like being a stalker of the seme during those 4 years that they were apart. (since it was the uke who even asked honda for the seme's address.) and he had been following the seme for some time.
it went straight to the feels when the uke thanked the seme for accepting his love at the end. aww.. (i was crying invisible tears due to the frustration of not being able to read kanji well.)

yes! Fujita asked for Kawasaki's address from Honda right after they graduated high school but never had the courage to go meet him since he was the one telling them to part ways :( Fujita said he tried going to Kawasaki's apartment but ran back halfway every time. And chose to work part time at the cafe because it was right next to Kawasaki's place and he can see him from there（/TДT)/ it was so heartbreaking when Fujita confessed that he liked Kawasaki since they were involved but thought Kawasaki wasn't serious about them and gave up TT and that Honda said he knew about them both since amichan pmsl (￣∇￣")
