i've noticed that it's always kageyama and hinata that pull each other up during the moments that they feel down or that they thought they might have fucked up.
especially this chapter. hinata managed to clear the air when kageyama thought he made the same mistake as when he was in middle school again. awwww...
hinata's words just managed to give kageyama fresher eyes on how he see's himself as he relates to others, especially in the court.

I just... omg. this is really it! it's confirmed! the whole thing was a plan to make kaneki into the king that they always wanted. maybe it really didn't start on purpose, but he fit the bill when he nearly died and gave kanou the opportunity to operate on kaneki. it was fate that kaneki met touka but since he got involved with everyone else, it just kind of spiraled from there.
and there are a lot of behind the scenes stuff that happened, i kind of think even when uta was making kaneki's mask and all. omg.
and when arima met kaneki for the first time, he did not kill him. he just beat him up enough to put him in cochlea, and then turn him into an investigator. they had the perfect subject!
and kaneki, for all his compassion, for his fear of rejection, wanted to do everything in his power to please the father (arima) that he found. even when he found his memories, even when he started showing his true self, he was still bound to the people that he cared for.
and now, he is perfect. kaneki is a part of both worlds (ccg and ghouls). he has gained fame/infamy on both sides.
nobody can ignore him now, or pretend that he is just another ghoul or rogue investigator.
i'm excited for the next chapter. what will kaneki choose? will he take the throne or destroy it?
These guys in the manga are walking on 3 legs. ( ̄∇ ̄")
