I need help. I'm bisexual and I'd like to tell my family. My mom knows (Sorta, she thinks I'm lesbian because she found out about my gf and we never really talked about it). My family isn't very open but I want them to know. I pushed it off for a while now, using excuses like my age and being scared, but after feeling really lonely and pent up sadness coming out I decided I'd like to tell them. just say you are bisexual, there is nothing wrong with that. be direct and explain why you changed your sexuality, etc, etc.
I think when you get to be independent will be the best way to do it. When you feel secure about coming to your parents, I think you don't need to rush. I say this because if you parents are those who don't really have a open mind to their children being certain sexuality it's going to cause tension. You could ask people who already came out and ask their opinion, either friends or someone else. Wish you the best.

I get where u coming from bc I came out to my sister that I was bi about 4 days ago and she was like yay u r gay and I was like no I'm bi I like both genders and well let's just say she thinks I'm just a straight up lesbian witch I'm not I like BOTH GENDERS but long story short I came out to my mom yesterday well to the rest of my older siblings and my mother that I am bi and she said it was just a faze witch really made me mad but oh well but today I heard on the phone whith her her friend and she said yeah my daughter thinks she bi and laughed. Ps just go for it and tell them u r bi and if they don't accept it still role with it bc u r u and nobody can't change who r
You have to explain to them that we can't choose who we love. Love just come naturally whenever it's the same gender or opposite. And We can't just force ourselves to love someone who we didn't love. Love need care, time, and a lots more to bloom into a beautiful flower. ヾ(☆▽☆)
