LIKE HONESTLY WHY? Why did everyone keep him in the dark about what was going on with her and WHY IN THE HELL did he not notice it. I know this is probably gonna be some cheesy love triangle with him probably trying to win her heart back, but with what she went through I don't think she will be swayed.

No one keep him in the dark, he just doesn't want to listen to anything related to the FL, he doesn't even bother to think why her parents never visited her even once during 10 years of their engagement, that's why he said so 'unless I'm an idiot, it's pretty obvious her family neglected her' and he did notice you know, he knows his own parents treated her like shit cause her mother is a maid, but he justified their action cause they are a 'Duke family', that's why he never said anything when the crown prince badmouthed his fiance, he only surprised at the party cause the count family dare to ridiculed the FL even though her mother is maid but she is from the marquis family.

Guess I am not the only one who thinks this manga is trash. I was hoping that this would become better, but it is just getting worse. The fact that the FL is actually falling for the ML is complete bullshit considering that she is basically being held against her will and hadn't had her own will since she was like 6.

You're telling me that the ex-husband this WHOLE EFFING TIME DID NOT KNOW HIS THE RUMORS OF HIS WIFE?!?!?! WHAT BS IS THAT. I mean sure he was at war, but I would have thought that since his parents knew that they would have told him or at least he would have overheard them talking about it.

She said that his parents had the same views so did the emperor. So they probably wouldn’t have said anything about what she was suffering. Rather the opposite would’ve probably encouraged it, make her know her place. But war time it can be hard to receive news and at times it can be months later before they hear anything about rumors or such. It could be that he tuned anything out that was about her.

So had to reread the first 2 chapters since I forgot the reason why everyone was hating MC.
SO she was born from a maid, but like where is that said maid? If everyone hated the MC as a kid why raise her in that household? Instead of hating the MC why not hate the MC's dad who cheated in his wife to slept with a maid who ended up conceiving the MC. I know this is a common trope in webcomics and manga, but it just gets a bit cliche will we ever see the father man up to his mistakes and take responsibility for most likely r@p3!ng the maid giving child support/a separate household for the mother to take care of the child. Like the MC literally did nothing wrong, but everyone is making her out to be a villain when she literally did nothing but exist.

i mean, as much as i agree with u, and hate the fact that nobody hates the man that cheats, isn't todays society the same just a bit less extreme? most ppl look at the woman that the man cheated with, and think of her as a whore that ruined somebodys relationship, and if a child is concieved by cheating its look down as some mistake
ppl overlook the man that cheated, bc its easier to say that a woman seduced him

OK SO... I get that there are people out there who think that killing people for revenge is ok, but for me I wonder on what level? Like you know an eye for an eye, an arm or an arm, a life for a life sort of stuff. If bullied take revenge by bullying them back or ruining their future exposing them what they did.
Like for the MC here he is killing the people who bullied and literally planed his family's death just because they were upset that their "play thing" was being taken away. So I would understand that the MC killing them would be reasonable because why did they kill the MC's family in the first place.
But was there more to it that we don't understand yet to why they bullied and killed the MC's family? Was the MV of the story just jealous of the MC's life that the MV thought that they had to ruin his to make the MC feel what he feels? When we know nothing yet of all the other characters who bullied the MC and what led them up to killing his family.

In the beginning the MV stated she wanted to be the first ever person to kill someone for no reason because she said everyone has a motive or reason for killing buh she wanted to kill just to kill so she picked him out of random to see how much it would take for him to kill himself then when he moved she didn’t like that so she decided to kill his family to see how he would react

In the beginning she stated she was raised in a normal household. It’s not uncommon for this to happen for example Ted Bundy grew up in a normal home jus for him to turn out a serial killer because he had that desire building up in him, i think the same applies for the MV tho i agree i hope to find out that she has more depth as to why she is that way

Seems promising for some real big character development with the female lead. From spoiled princess to becoming the sole kingdom's hope for the future. She'll have to probably learn everything that her brother had to learn up to that point. Although I question why she didn't learn all that stuff alongside her brother since she is also royalty.

People on here are complaining about the age gap of the 2 characters, which is 8 years by the way, and I am just here thinking like "uh my grandparents have a 10 year age difference and my adult cousin with their adult partner have a 12 year age difference..." I guess I am just accustomed to big age gaps in my family?( ̄へ ̄ ; )
I am just glad that they agreed to wait after she graduated and became an adult to marry each other.
OK, I understand that the dad is trying to keep his one and only daughter safe from the Emporer, but he could have at least in the end told her WTF was going on before she killed herself so that there wouldn't be any sort of misunderstandings in the first place before she slipped into the past/also reincarnated to that world. Plus the fact that he is finally trying to get close with his daughter after the reincarnation kinda pisses me off, LIKE OH YOU ARE FINALLY TRYING TO ACT LIKE A FATHER AFTER IGNORING HER FOR 18 YEARS. Alright cool, but there will be more misunderstanding if you don't tell her shit especially since she is an adult now and knows what is sort of going on, but only because she remembers it from the past.
Well the story is a lot complicated than that and u'll see the reason for all this in the end
(it might be a little bit spoiler)
I understand you so much!But..
I read the novel a bit before this became manhwa. I found all of the situation are ridiculously making new misunderstandings, even in the second life (well, not a really serious matter, actually cute, but still irritating XD)
My point is you are right about the lack of communication, but you will see later on that her father actually did his best. I did pointed my finger on him,but Cherry is right. I predict that everything that his father did even before the second chance had their own reasons. So lets be patient and wait !!!
