I read this manga after Merry Checker, which posed realistic problems that were handled in mature, non-dramatic ways.

So I was a bit disappointed to see how unrealistic and problematic some of these stories were. In the second story, the uke had sex with the seme even though he had a girlfriend. And instead of berating or faulting the uke, the seme thought nothing of his cheating and instead confessed his love, vowing to steal him away.

In the fifth story, the seme was abused but it was brushed away because the abuser was lonely and was an uke. Because hey, being violent doesn't matter when you take it up the ass and lose your chastity! And if outside characters realized the uke was an abuser but simply chalked it up to a difficult personality, that's also worrisome... the seme should not have been encouraged to tolerate (and appreciate) domestic and sexual abuse. (Because that bathtub scene was not consensual, even if the seme got an erection.)

As for the last story, I don't know the boys' ages... and if they were of the age of consent, I can't say the seme was a pedophile. However, I personally disapprove of him sleeping with his models. Even if the work is pornography, he should have maintained a professional attitude and refrained from indulging his carnal desires through them, especially if he supposedly has "no interest for teenagers."

Hmm that was nervewracking in many ways. I'm pissed at Aoi for raping the uke, but I can't really understand why Kishimoto talks so openly about his past (as a prostitute) like it's not a big deal. Any normal person would feel bad about it, and it was so obvious that Aoi didn't wanna listen to it that it was almost painful. I mean, would you really want to know how many partners did your bf have before you, or how your partner "helped them" by having sex with them??? Accepting their past is one thing, but having it shoved at your face all the time would make everyone feel insecure. Not that it justifies the rape, that was also wrong, but damn.

As a bisexual genderfluid myself, there's the possibility that I'll be with a female in the end, but if I'm with a male partner and my child comes out to me, I would support them 100%. While I won't say it was a terrible one, I had a pretty hard time coming out to my family- they're still in denial about it. Especially in homophobic countries, the......
