For an abused child the brother is too innocent/acts like a regular kid? I’m not sure how to put it but he acts too much like a spoiled stubborn kid. You’d think he’d act a little more submissive or I don’t know cautious?
I don’t think so, children react differently to dysfunction. If anything Ivorre seemed to be the obedient child who doesn’t question her authority figures whereas Dou acts more aligned the rebellious child who defies his family (think about the 1st timeline.) They only act stable & loving when they’re with each other (which is the 2nd timeline.) Granted, I don’t think this is a great depiction of what abuse can actually look plus he’s like 13 years old. You’re bound to act on emotions rather than logic at that age

Though I guess since she’s come back in time, and prevented most of the more traumatic events he experienced it’s more like neglect he’s experienced. That could account for how positive/more of a “normal” kid vibe he gives off…
