
Why did ML pull him aside just because MC didn’t want to be all sunshine and rainbows to his BSF? Go home and do that.. Especially you don't treat MC’s bsf the nicest either.. My god.. Also I understand that MC shouldn’t have kept him in the dark but that ML wouldn't understand MC’s reasoning either way (as you see) because he is blinded by his trust on his bsf..

Why is it such a big deal if the art style changed a little it’s not even that obvious

It's incredibly obvious. I'm guessing the artist was having trouble meeting deadlines and switched to a simpler art style to avoid overworking themselves to death. The anime/manga scene doesn't have a good rep when it comes to treating their artists well. It's a shame though, I'm sure the artist preferred the first style too.
