If you're talking about yoonseo in terms of the team it's because they basically threatened all of them with releasing an article of sorts low-key forgot what it would be about. But basically it would ruin them. So yoonseo was just trying to act like a low leveled hunter so that they'd eventually let him go as not being the person they're looking for, however, he also doesn't want to see anybody die so in the dungeon he reveals his power. If you're talking about yoonseo as his secret identity, it's because he'd have to show up in front of the public again and relive his trauma while having to deal with people who would threaten him and blame him for not doing enough. So he just skipped that and went undercover as a low leveled hunter. Idk if that answered your question
