I’ve seen several chinese manhuas by now and I really can’t remember a single male character that does not treat women like f*ckdolls/their own possessions. Just name me one! None of these male characters respect women and their independence but instead they abuse and treat them horribly. But it seems to be “alright” because they’re handsome, wealthy and they “love” them. And somehow female characters forgive them instead of- I don’t know, spit on their faces and get the f*ck away as much as they can. Is this really the portrayal of the chinese view towards women? If so I’m utterly disappointed. Here I thought living with middle eastern men sucked enough. SHEEESHHHHH

I’m the type of a reader who likes to binge-read every chapter but it’s literally impossible with this. I got so many headaches while trying to get a grisp of the story that’s hardly progressing. Also damn girl! At least allow that poor kid to know his father’s identitiy, what a horrible thing to do.
