there are lots of really badass girl mcs from shoujo/romance drive plots, but this list is specifically filled with stories that are gems due to the rarity of their specific tropes/plots with a female-centered protag.

- i try to avoid romance! (if there's a big center point or even just distinct input of it, i'll mention it)
- mostly action/shounen vibes

i love this character archetype the best. they're hilarious.
