It was obsessive, gloomy, gory and dark. I won't say there was no love, it was some kind of love but it didn't save anyone.
The story was well plotted, it shows the complexities of one's own decision to deny their purpose and it's consequences. How love is the single thing everyone craved, how love couldn't save anyone in the end.
