I dislike seeing chan IL and ri in as a couple. I can't stomach seeing them be all lovey dovey (I think bc nothing bad has happened to either one of them— that's why they aren't 'toxic') bc at the same time, cirrus and Skylar are traumatized and suffering.
I also don't really like how ri-in and chan-il don't seem to be that disturbed by how messed up cirrus' life is (especially ri-in when considering she knows all the details) and how he's disappeared and is probably suffering. I'm not saying they have to, but I just don't like when they get screentime because I think about this a lot.
Not all couples need to be suffering and have some traumatic past lol I adore the straight couple and yes urs is an unpopular opinion. Skyrus’ turn will come in chapter 125.

honestly i feel like chan il shouldn't be concerned with it since they were friends but he just found out and they were never like best buddies... maybe ri in, but then again she really isn't close with him now after finding out that he set them up with an ulterior motive... maybe she should've done something before but i don't know how that would interfere with your opinion on their relationship

I think a manhwa is better when you see other characters than the main couple. It’s good to see how someone’s situation impacts their surroundings and although Ri-in is close with cirrus, he still manipulated her to get what he wanted. She has all the rights to be angry, that along with the fact that whether they’re friends or not, she has no right to butt in his family affairs. It’s not that she’s ‘unconcerned’, it’s that there’s literally nothing she can do. If she wasn’t fighting with him, for example, all she can do is text, call or show up at his house and if he doesn’t answer then there’s nothing else to do. She has EVERY RIGHTS to be happy with chan-il and her happiness shouldn’t depend on someone else’s. It’s not because your friend isn’t feeling well that you also have to feel miserable in your life and personal time with someone you love. You may have been friends with someone since childhood, and that person may have issues in their life and family, but in no way should it impact how you live your life. You can be there for them and support them, but you’re still a living person with real feelings. A person may have problems (and i love cirrus with all my heart) but it gives him 0 rights to manipulate his friend for the sake of getting his way with someone else. He was 100% in the wrong and he knows and recognizes it, for that, ri-in has every right be angry at him even if she’s worried for him. She can be angry and worried and still date the person she loves, because her life isn’t owned by cirrus. I’m repeating myself a lot but she’s allowed to be happy even if she’s worried for cirrus suddenly going MIA. She doesn’t have to put her entire life on pause for someone else, no matter how close they are. Also chan-il may be friends with cirrus but they were never like besties or anything and as heartless as that can sound he doesn’t owe cirrus anything, especially after that fight. Maybe I just like seeing side characters not revolving around the main characters and having their own lives idk.
For the author to make the Yuri couple the main couple? They are having such a beautiful love story while maythan and his harem are engaging in foolishness.
