My favorite MLs after novel finished: Clyde > Ilya > Eugen > Damian >>>>>>> Oswald
ML in the end is Clyde and even though he’s basic and cliche as ML, I understand why he was picked. It’s process of elimination honestly. All MLs (except Clyde) are too possessive of Tereze and didn’t like she has other people she loved, like her family or her friends. Tereze is the creator and she loves her creations, so when MLs killed or hurt innocents to manipulate and possess Tereze, she won’t accept it and reject MLs. I saw it as her bottom line.

Ilya’s arc
So on Ilya’s arc, they’re trapped inside Ilya’s dream and Tereze was there with her real body so the longer she was trapped inside the dream, the more her senses and organs became impaired. Long story short, Tereze’s eyes started to fail and she couldn’t see clearly when they finally could break the dream. But Ilya wanted to live just the two of them in the dream until the last moment. He calculated they still have one year inside dream before Tereze’s senses and organs failed completely. Tereze was clearly horrified. Thankfully, Libby helped break the dream from outside so they are saved.
I sailed on Ilya’s ship but damn I was betrayed. Even I know this part of him won’t make him the end ML. He can let his beloved hurt as long as he can be with her. DAMMIT I TRUST YOU ILYAAAAA WHY YOU LIKE THIS

Damian’s arc
Tereze and Damian are trapped inside dungeon on school festival. So here in dungeon, Damian’s memories are sealed and they relieved Damian’s childhood times until adult. The quest is to make Damian’s purpose on life is to marry Tereze. According to my subjective taste, it’s kinda grooming so Damian’s kinda low on my list because of this reason. Tereze in the end kinda felt attached to Dungeon Damian (dDamian) and when the dungeon disappeared, dDamian also disappeared. When they’re escaped from dungeon, Damian wondered why she looked melancholy and sad every time she saw him.
Long story short, dDamian made a deal with Oswald, so he will appear and take over Damian’s body later outside dungeon. In dungeon, dDamian was leader of underworld organization so he has no problem killing people to reach his objectives. When he took over Damian’s body, he killed the leader of assassin guild and became its leader. He didn’t stop the guild spreading toys(?) or tools that amplified negative emotions, thus people became demon contractor and induced dungeon appearance. At this time Eugene pursued Tereze romantically (5 red hearts), all people knew it and wonder if she’ll be empress in the future. dDamian didn’t like it so he even directed so that dungeons appear on Eugene’s path and killed Eugene. Tereze was super mad because he involved innocent people and severed ties with him. In the end dDamian died when he failed to trap Tereze.

Eugene’s arc (my favorite arc)
They are trapped inside childcare dungeon. The demon contractor was a duke’s daughter like Tereze but her parents were super awful and she envied Tereze’s family.
Let me slip in why Squire parents are the best. Right now in manhwa, it shows that the duke looks like typical cold duke father and stepmother looks kind superficially but hate her stepchild inside like evil stepmother in manhwa normally. But no, they’re just… normal parents. Little by little, Tereze saw that her father didn’t mad or scold her because she ruined family’s reputation or what, but because… well she’s wrong and a troublemaker. He scolded her because she spent four days drunk alcohol and three days hangover every week at academy, because she wiped out liquor storage at duke’s mansion empty, because she skipped breakfast; he nagged her like normal father with troublemaker daughter with unhealthy lifestyle. Stepmother was also the same. In manhwa, it shows like she threatened Tereze to protect Libby, but she’s actually just told Tereze like normal mother told older sibling not to bully their younger sibling and be good to them. When Tereze asked if stepmother hated her because Tereze kinda bullied her, stepmother answered no she didn’t hate Tereze at all. From her perspective, Tereze’s behavior was like child tantrum and a way to attract her parent’s attention. She told Tereze that when she was child, sometimes when she had nightmares or when she just wanted to cuddle, Tereze went to stepmother’s room and slept with her. Tereze realized they actually didn’t have bad relationship. After this conversation, Tereze started to call her mother, not stepmother anymore.
Back to dungeon, Tereze and Eugene became married couple, Cecilia (demon contractor) was their daughter. They have to max all parameters to get the treasure to solve the dungeon. The parameter were something like children favorability towards her parents, the parents reputation as good marital couple, and one more I forgot. Long story short, they have to do lovey dovey stuffs as married couple and became good parents to Cecilia. They’re so sweet that iirc before dungeon Eugene’s favorability was 3 black hearts and after dungeon it became 5 red hearts. Inside dungeon he proposed to her, but Tereze kinda avoided answering him. He knew she didn’t like empress responsibilities so he worked to change the law or something to reduce empress’ duty before he proposed again. He did manipulation to make Tereze stayed in palace by ordering her to do dungeon report or something and he also refused Tereze’s father’s plea to meet his daughter so he couldn’t persuade her to go back home. Unlike Damian or Oswald who did manipulation secretly behind her back, Eugene did it openly and proudly.

YOO YEAH I THINK THIS RATING IS COMPLETELY REASONABLE and while i do also agree clyde is basic, he's the healthiest one for her and works w/ tereze's morals the most. honestly it's understandable how he's not insanely possessive of her too because if he was, that would be hypocrisy to his own self for feeling so uncomfortable abt og!tereze. tereze's love for her creations was genuine and true, so, unclouded by ulterior motives, clyde was able to reciprocate that affection in a pure way as well. due to this, i felt like their first marriage arc already began to reflect this, and i could vividly picture the marriage and feel the warm feelings of it. i might be a little biased tho cuz personally i'm a sucker for dynamics like theirs. (nice guy x meanie who eventually warms up to nice guy and grows a soft spot for them)
where did you finish the novel tho? the site i'm reading it from only has 302 chapters (altho actually 326 but it's behind a pay wall)

YO NO YOU'RE NOT ALONE ON THAT THINKING EITHER while the dynamic of dunmian and tereze did grow on me, i couldn't help but feel iffy on how the dungeon arc basically was grooming. if the quest was just to help damian become a better person that'd be fine, but tereze was tasked to actually make dunmian grow to love her (literally)

can you explain why you wanted ilya to be w/ tereze? i've only caught up to the latest chapters on my site which are on the seoul dungeon arc, so the only arc i actually know of for ilya is the angel/celestial arc. ilya didn't particularly catch my eye unlike any of the mls, so it's hard for me to describe his dynamic at all w/o only listing out his events w/ and acts to her. i know that the squire parents were favorable and pushing for a marriage between him and tereze so he must've been a good fit, but i never particularly got the appeal.

YEAH EXACTLY ABT THE SQUIRE PARENTS! i'm all for understanding an og!villainess's environment and story, but i'm ngl og!tereze literally was a troublemaker what else were they supposed to do w/ her, continue enabling her unhealthy behavior?? i don't recall any instances where they severely punished her either, maybe the house arrest in the beginning, but i think that was reasonable since og!tereze would frequently go out just to often come back home drunk/hungover. tho, it is understandable why tereze thought the two of them had hostility for og!tereze because she did make og!tereze w/ horrible traits. it'd be expected that og!tereze's family would scorn her or smth. SO YEAH LIKE CONSTELLATIONS SAY, SQUIRE FAMILY REALLY IS THE BEST
euges' arc was also my favorite too since i thought it was sweet. i really appreciated seeing cecilia and tereze grow close and that cecilia was able to heal, even for just a little while in the dungeon. i also liked the end when they were at the baseball game because it boosted euges' fondness for her and showed why he was honestly quite grateful to her. tbh, i did find euges interesting because i like charismatic bold characters like him, and he does fit the development i enjoy w/ an initially cold character warming up over time to and liking another character who puts in strong efforts for the former. unfortunately, he wouldn't be fit to be endgame ofc since tereze ending up w/ him in the long run would be very restricting and uncomfortable for her. even tho he sees an appeal in the fact that tereze can entertain him, is able to stand up to him, and really does understand/care for him, overall there would be a major power imbalance, already shown when he orders her to stay and prevent raul (duke squire) from visiting her and other requests. so despite his wishes to spend the rest of his life w/ her (since she's someone who can handle him and he appreciates her as well), they're better off temporary.
AND YO THANK YOU FOR SUMMARIZING THESE!! you described it well and accurately, at least from what i remember. it's also nice to find more novel readers who understand why things are the way they are instead of those who keep only talking abt the ml i mean it's reasonable since manhwa readers only can assume based on the current chapters. plus, ppl expressing that they like a ml and want him to be endgame is completely fine, but it's annoying that a ton of comments just keep complaining abt clyde's role when the manhwa really isn't that deep into to make sound judgements on anyone's character yet.

Oswald’s arc
I need to sleep on it before I type it, otherwise my blood pressure will rise.
I was hoping his case like Moon Owl from Obsidian Bride and I had small hope for him initially since the other MLs are Tereze’s creations so I thought he had more chance become the true ML. But nope. If we use red flag green flag, then Oswald is definitely black flag. He’s the main villain.
There’s a bunch he did behind the scene, but the point of no return is when he manipulated things so Clyde was erased from the God’s Play system then he inserted himself as ML in scenario (he became Marquis from south), and manipulate Tereze’s quests so she had to raise his affection. One by one the other MLs disappeared. Clyde was erased (only Tereze and elder angel she cursed to never forget his sin remember him); Ilya disappeared at heaven’s realm when he tried to find out why there’s mismatch between his memories and reality; and Damian died. When Eugene finally met him, he saw that Oswald was not a human and not from their dimension (it’s because imperial family buff or something so Eugene’s eyes are special). Oswald stabbed Eugene in the stomach to kill him, Tereze panicked and tried to heal him with potion. Potion not working, she summoned Libby for help and Eugene was saved even though he’s still in critical condition. Tereze was super super mad and confront him. She snapped and told Oswald she hated him from the beginning. Whatever he did it’s impossible for her to love someone like him. Oswald thought he put on the wrong button from the start so whatever he did after was useless. How about if he pursued her when she’s in blank state. Then he trapped Tereze in dungeon with her memories sealed, Tereze was back as Shin Jiwoo and relieve her childhood times and Oswald inserted himself as her neighbor. They became childhood friends. Jiwoo remembered her past as Jiwoo but didn’t remember her times as Tereze, so she thought she regressed. She’s instinctively wary of Oswald but didn’t know why. And she’s scared of him from her subconscious and avoided fighting with Oswald because whenever they quarreled, Jiwoo always suffered from bad luck.
Short summary, it’s like Oswald playing visual novel with Jiwoo as his target. If he picked the wrong option, Jiwoo then severed ties with him or avoided him or rejected him (aka bad ending) so he turned back the time (loaded his save point lol) and picked the right options until they’re finally dating and lived together. Since he repeatedly rewind the time, the dungeon became unstable so outsiders could finally break in inside dungeon to give hints to Jiwoo that it’s not reality. They warned Jiwoo to not refuse Oswald’s proposal or he will turn back time again and she will forget their warning. Little by little Jiwoo found clues and finally she could read the quest board which only had two options, to live as Jiwoo or to live as Tereze. Her memories as Tereze finally back and she decided to live as Tereze since as Jiwoo, her family didn’t love her and she didn’t have close friends; while in God’s Play, she had her family, friends, and she also had many achievements as Tereze. Oswald tried to persuade her to start from beginning again, he’s confident Jiwoo will love him again. It’s tragic really, Jiwoo is also Tereze, and after all that time as Jiwoo, she did fall in love with Oswald. But she couldn’t accept that he only wanted Jiwoo who loved him and tried to erase Tereze who hated him. Also rather than apologize and accept his mistakes and work on it, Oswald preferred to trap her in the dungeon and start from the beginning again. Tereze was tired of everything so she broke the dungeon, she was sucked into space-time rift and teleported somewhere.
Long story short, Tereze worked together with Libby and the other MLs (who evolved(?) into constellations), also with Oswald’s victims union or something to fight against Oswald and his company. He finally lost and he said he preferred Tereze killed him rather than he saw her end up with other guy. So Tereze stabbed him with dagger and killed Oswald.
After the manhwa’s published, the author posted special side story about Oswald too. Unfortunately his parts are paid, so I couldn’t read it with free ticket. Eugene and Ilya’s SSS that I can read every 3 hours are just *chef kiss*. Hopefully in SSS, Oswald become better. Honestly it is wrong of him trying to “fix” Tereze or manipulate the environment so she depends on him and him alone. The root problem is him and his personality. I personally think he should fix himself first. I don’t like him as ML, but I admit he’s goddamn amazing as villain.

THANK YOU! I love that their development is so natural from enemies > rivals > friends > lovers. He grew on me for sure. I like that Tereze feels comfortable with him. Right now in manhwa he’s kinda jerk and tsundere to the max, but later it’s nice to see when Tereze teased him then he teased her back.
I think I read on the same site as yours until the last free chapters, then I went to the usual website that post raw chapters (b***toki) and mtl it until the end. The mtl is not the best, but readable enough for me.

It’s because my personal taste really. From all MLs, Ilya is the one with the best first impression. Simple as that. I like that their interactions are… how should I say it.. sweet in subtle way? I also like that it’s not flashy or overly dramatic.
But because of the reason I mentioned before, I cannot root him as ML. Again it’s my personal taste; I don’t like ML who consciously has no problem hurt his beloved for whatever reason. Except that one case (it didn’t even happen for real since Libby saved them), Ilya didn’t show this tendency even once after that. So he’s still high on my list, before Clyde took over him lol. He’s so respectful and polite and mature that I wonder if he’s really archdemon. Why is he archdemon really? Why is archdemon like this?

HONESTLY YEAH it's a little disappointing (emotionally, not from a writing perspective cuz i think the author wrote his role rather well) that his case wasn't like moon owl's. frankly from the comments here i did read obsidian bride cuz of them and i did end up enjoying his and obsidian's dynamic! so still, a bit of a shame oswald wasn't like that.
yeah the moment he eliminated everyone only for him to be the only option and forced tereze to pursue him really crossed the line. when i read that, i was literally at how all the mls just died or went MIA. it was so swift too that no one had the time to process anything, whether it was tereze, the readers, or even the mls themselves. ngl on a side note, i started thinking abt how "doki doki forever", the song from ddlc, matched their situation, imagining a whole animatic in my head.
yo the visual novel comparison is what i thought too! it's ironic how the player (tereze) became the target while the administrator (oswald) then became the player. honestly cuz of that, i can at least respect his efforts of trying to appease jiwoo. however, it did feel flawed on his part cuz rather than fundamentally understanding why jiwoo disliked his actions, it's more like he took it a face value and avoided that specific thing rather than the core of it. ygwim? for example if jiwoo was upset by him killing a boy named john after she and john spent time together, oswald would just not kill john but kill another boy if the same scenario happened—oswald not realizing that the act and intent themselves are bad rather than a specific detail. it's clear that he doesn't reflect on the severity of his actions anyway. i think it's a little tragic tho, as i felt sympathetic towards him in the moment where he laughed out of relief and happiness, covering his flushed face from jiwoo, when they started dating. it seems he did really end up loving her but just like euges, there was a power imbalance that he didn't want to address properly, both in the god's play world and seoul dungeon. soo many things contribute to this. even tho he and tereze (now jiwoo) would meet in a more authentic way, oswald was already in a higher standing than her by being in a wealthier and prestigious family. plus, rather than progressively making up for his mistakes, he just went back and redid them entirely (enforcing his power), making their relationship completely perfect instead of getting over hurdles naturally together. jiwoo herself couldn't even go against him either since bad luck would happen if she did. it's ironic too. i remember him saying that he loved jiwoo's perfectly flawed self, yet he himself refused to allow their relationship have any flaws. jiwoo's "perfectly flawed self" was ofc still ideal to him anyway, as she was molded by him to love and like him unconditionally. after all, he denied the self that she felt most comfortable in and as the truest version of her, which was her as tereze.
YOO how many SSS's are there in total?? are they also on the site you mentioned (b***toki)? AND YEAH i think he's definitely great as a villain and gives a little bit of a twist on the role. in many stories, the villain opposes the mc and usually despises them, but here oswald opposes tereze more because of his fondness for her. still, as i said, he doesn't actually understand her, his love for her originating more from fascination than true appreciation for her as an individual. like i said, he wanted things between them to be too artificially perfect, him trying to "fix" her as you said. only reflecting his own interests, he tried to make their relationship ideal instead of truly considering tereze. even until the end, he must've wanted to preserve that ideal picture he had in his head by letting her kill him rather than witness her end up w/ someone else. despite his care for her, overall he saw her, subconsciously or not, more as a thing that he had control over. i think if they did really end up together, things would only be unhappy for tereze and oswald would've discarded her at some point like oswald's victims union.

YES EXACTLY!! i seriously love the way he was able to warm up to her w/o there being a huge jump from one stage to another. honestly i'm prob glazing clyde a bit much, but i think the way he contrasts the mls in some aspects reveals a lot why he's the healthier choice. neither he or tereze had the power to go back in time nor erase each other's memories like oswald, so they were able to slowly learn more abt each other and develop naturally. they didn't try to force a ton of power over the other either (oswald, euges, a bit of damian). much more too. their interactions really are heartwarming ^^

ohh that's fair now that i think abt it. when first reading the novel, i did have a pretty favorable impression of him since he was the kindest/most neutral to tereze. i just wasn't able to think abt him much once the later events and arcs happened. still, his relationship w/ tereze is likely the calmest then. now that you've said that, i am starting to see the appeal in the subtle sweetness. would you mind recommending me some songs that fit ilya's and tereze's relationship then? i've actually made playlists on spotify for all mls' dynamic w/ tereze, altho ilya's is the most lacking since i wasn't able to really describe his relationship w/ tereze.
ah yeah that's understandable. LMAO no wonder they're high, maybe it's just in ilya and clyde's family genes to be good partners. altho, maybe ilya's an archdemon cuz of corruption? not exactly that he's really corrupted but cuz of the celestial heaven's standards. after all, he was considered one of the most law abiding angels until he avenged clyde in which the heavenly world took that as a great discourtesy and sent him down. however, it could be pent up resentment too. instead of remaining "emotionless" like what the heavens want, he's likely still harboring hatred. he does have celestials in his dislikes after all, and in his bad ending he takes over the world. plus, like you said, he hadn't shown his tendency of not having a problem hurting his loved ones. perhaps he's also holding back some more negative feelings.

Clyde’s arc (super long)
Overall Clyde is the one who didn’t feel obsessive much towards Tereze. I observed she’s the most comfortable with him. She’s kinda on edge with the other MLs since she felt uncomfortable with their romantic pursuits.
First dungeon is already spoiled by someone in the comment so I’m not gonna summarize it again. The most important thing (not really lol) is they had wedding and got married inside dungeon. After first dungeon, Clyde’s affection became 2 red hearts (or is it 3 red hearts I forgot), and they had better relationship, sometimes they had lunch together.
Later Clyde’s mother awoke Clyde’s demon personality (dClyde), and it dominated over Clyde’s human personality (hClyde). Different from hClyde whose affection was red hearts, dClyde’s affection to Tereze was 4 black hearts. Tereze got quest to get love token from dClyde before deadline, the reward was disappearance of dClyde, the penalty was disappearance of hClyde. To summarize, Oswald showed her quest board to dClyde and he disappointed that Tereze wanted him to deceive him, therefore he decided to deceive her back. When it’s time for their (second) wedding, dClyde destroyed the love token which he prepared (wedding ring) so that her quest failed. But hClyde took over and gave her his ring from their first wedding, so the quest should have been successful. Yet Oswald considered it failed and erased Clyde from the system. Everyone forgot Clyde except Tereze (and one cursed elder angel).
Clyde was sucked into space-time rift and ended up in planet Signio without memories. He only remember his name and Tereze’s name. This planet is where Oswald was still emperor (eOswald) and not yet channel administrator. Clyde ended up being adopted by noble family and gaining achievements until he became one of eOswald’s elite knights.
So after Tereze was sucked into space-time rift at the end of Oswald’s dungeon arc, Tereze ended up at planet Signio where Clyde was. He found Tereze and took custody of her until eOswald came back from war. He noticed she came from the same dimension as him and asked if she knew him. She said they’re friends who married twice and kissed a few times lol. Anyway Tereze found that she could use her magic but weaker because holy power dominated it. After research she discovered that both share the same origin; holy power was easy to use but it took from planet’s energy and every time it’s used it depleted planet’s resource (create something from nothing); magic needed expertise to use but it didn’t deplete the planet resource so it was safer (transform something that already existed to other thing). Clyde taught Tereze holy magic and she taught him magic in return. It’s really heartwarming to see that after depressing Oswald’s dungeon arc, here Tereze could finally smile and bicker with Clyde. Anyway the elders asked Tereze to recover the desert with magic, so she grew forest etc, which made her some kind of savior for Signio’s people.
Later when eOswald was finally back from war and met Tereze, he behaved like Oswald but there’s subtle difference and he’s kinda respectful to Tereze. She thought maybe he’s thankful because she recovered the land but she’s still cautious. EOswald offered her a room in palace to make it easier since he had more tasks for her, but she refused saying that she’s married to Clyde and married couple should stay together. EOswald okayed it and ordered her to come to palace every day instead. Since now they were known as married couple, Clyde’s servants made them sleep in the same room lol. Then the next day Clyde got his memories back though only fragments, he remembered why he ended up at Signio, and wondered why his emperor (Oswald) was shown in his memories. Tereze then showed her memories to him about her, about system, and everything happened until she got stranded in Signio. Clyde then commented that they really kissed a few times. Tereze was baffled as to why that was his focus lol. Tereze said since she saw him in the Oswald dungeon, means that she’ll back to her timeline soon but left Clyde in the past timeline and he would endure a long long time alone until the present timeline.
There’s a bunch of things happened, turned out eOswald used holy power to read Tereze’s memories when he met her the first time, he saw she and Oswald as lovers, it made him also wanted Tereze. He became impatience when he saw Clyde before going work kissed Tereze goodbye at the palace (lol tpo pls), eOswald then gave decree that Tereze was to become his empress. Tereze refused, Clyde attacked him, and she used its chance to make dimensional gate. Long story short, Libby and the other MLs came helping her going back to God’s Play. Because of eOswald’s rampage, planet Signio was destroyed, but fortunately Hardy and Clyde got stranded at Pantheon and was saved. Hardy was Oswald’s natural enemy. Planet Signio was a place inside the story ‘Sand Saintess’, in which Hardy was the protagonist and eOswald was the villain. They found out that eOswald also ended up in Pantheon and would become channel administrator in the future. So they began work behind the scene to bring down Oswald, enduring eons until the present time came.
Signio arc is a fresh breather after Oswald’s arc. Seoul dungeon is slice of life-ish and following Jiwoo and Oswald’s school and college days actually pretty sweet. But there’s always this dark undertone, like we know that it’s fake and we know that it’ll end up horrible. In Signio, Tereze sometimes felt depressed and just stayed in her room brooding. Clyde then brought her to desert and told her to just do her usual making it rain (when Tereze’s emotion unstable, her holy power was affected, making it rain). It’s okay to make it rain, since later when she saw him, she made flowers bloom.
Tereze’s still in denial of her feeling because she thought her love was love for her creation as their creator. She’s not sure she could look at her creation romantically. She asked Clyde why he loved her, since she’s the creator maybe he’s just emotionally drawn to her. Clyde asked if she think that love only happens for grand reasons? Not at all. Love can happen in a moment. Tereze realized that she had subconsciously believed love was something grand. She believed that love was an act where someone from outside her world crashed into her life and took over all her senses. She always thought true love felt like being the only two people in an empty world. But Clyde dismissed what everyone calls special love as nothing more than a simple emotion. How could he not love her when she’s beautiful, lovely and treat him better than everyone else. At that moment, Tereze realized that the way he loves was the most devoted love she’s ever experienced. While everyone else sought possessive love and restricted her, only he held her hand and led her into a broader world. She finally realized that he, who slowly seeped into her life, was the most lovable of all.
This is when Clyde took over Ilya and became the top of my list. I think Tereze wanted a man who was not obsessed with her and loved only her; someone who loved her preciously while also caring for those around her.

THANK YOU! You described it more elaborately than I did. When I read his arc, even though it’s school and college sweet love story, there’s this bitter aftertaste. I remember I wished this arc finish fast, I mean I was pretty sure it’ll end up in tragic.
Anyway the newest special side story is 32 chapters total, and lastly I checked it’s not in b***toki (yet). It’s consist of:
- What IF Eugene (empress ending), which Tereze became empress and they ended up having 5 children lol. As expected of the guy who solved childcare dungeon as a father.
- What IF Ilya, which Ilya let go of Bernstein name and disappeared. He’s going back as archangel again then went down to human realm and established noble house in the north, married Tereze then they became researcher couple.
- Ilya’s spin-off. It’s AU story where Ilya as archangel disguised as cardinal of church, and Tereze was priestess of evil religion (or something I forgot).
- Oswald’s bad ending. He’s succeed trapping Tereze (Jiwoo) inside Seoul dungeon forever.
- What IF Oswald, which after he’s killed by Tereze, somehow he ended up in Seoul and was picked up by Shin Jiwoo. Here she still worked on game God’s Play purely as developer and never experience the system. Rather than manipulate Jiwoo like before, he decided to change himself and be the one who adjust everything to her will. He became so meek it’s so weird, some kkp readers commented that it’s like his redemption arc. Me personally like his villain character and want to see him find happiness, but not this happy dammit.
- What IF Damian, which he and Tereze were dating, on the way to engagement. He still had to meet her family and as usual overthinking that her father wouldn’t accept him. He’s duke now, but he’s ex-commoner and illegitimate son. Tereze said her father hates everyone and her younger brother would pick fights with all men so no need to overthink.
- Clyde’s true ending, which told Clyde and Tereze’s wedding. He finally married Tereze for real lol. His fan club’s still loud and he thought since he’s married, that damn club will finally be disbanded. Manhwa translation, PBC(?) or Potential Brides for Clyde; novel translation, Clybe or Clyde’s Bride-to-be, so now that he’s married, there’s only Tereze as his bride, or something. Now that I think about it, Clyde is the only ML who had wedding with Tereze (twice in main story lolol). The others just became lovers or straight became married couple.

When Lancelot’s 12 yo iirc, husband set Lancelot up as the heir of family and divorced Rachel, then he removed himself from family registry, resigned from his position as knight commander, and moved to other city with his mistress. He died while working, crushed by boulder or something. The mistress was pregnant and it was a daughter she named Mila. She never registered her marriage with Rachel’s ex-husband, only shoved the marriage paper somewhere at their house. She never married anyone and lived with her daughter.
After divorce, Kimberly proposed to Rachel and they married. Since Lancelot was the heir to duchy, father-in-law (or Lancelot I forgot) suggested that Kimberly took one of duchy collateral title(?), so he became a count, and Rachel became countess. They moved out from mansion and move to mansion next door lol. Kimberly and Rachel had one daughter, Mildred, and one son, Ashley.

The sad thing is he didn’t know that he regretted it. When he died, the man in robe took his soul to the white world (where Rachel met him and ask about Lancelot in 1st TL). He said that husband life was full of bad choices. According to him, husband had cracks in his heart (mtl), maybe something like broken soul(?), so that’s why he made those wrong choices and didn’t comprehend why those choices were wrong.
1st TL husband soul already cracked, thus 1st TL was disaster. 2nd TL the crack became smaller, he still broken so he again chose wrong and bad choices but this TL was significantly better than the previous one. Man in robe said that if he reincarnated with his cracked heart, he will live the same like previous TLs. That’s why he took husband soul to white world, to make him face and think why his choices, his attitudes, why one by one people left him. When his crack disappears and he’s ready mentally, he can choose to reincarnate and leave the white world.
In WN, it’s still mentioned why his heart cracked in the first place and who is the man in robe. Probably it was explained in LN version and hopefully manga will cover it better.
I miss my Lupri…
