I doubt you'll get to read this one, but I think most of your frustrations stem from the fact that many commenters are very young and immature. I think that is the main reason for #1. I personally have never wished that. Perhaps some readers mean that they want to be a character in a yaoi manga, not necessarily a gay man in real life.

Making any topic or subject taboo or restricting its exploration in art is never a good thing. Since when has art been limited by what is moral or immoral?
