I didn't think ppl would dislike S2's couple that much. In my case, I didn't like the main couple, I thought of dropping the story many times but for some reason didn't and now I think it was to read the side couple story. I love what the author is doing with them lol Of course, it's just that season 2 is more my cup of tea than season 1 personally.

Dropped this because it just made me feel miserable. It started really cute but then there was a lot of casual transphobia and it just wasn't getting better. I came to read the comments to see if I should still give it a chance but they make me not want to finish this at all. Really disappointing.

Yamada should definitely stop taking Eita's advice lol I vibe with Yamada's reasoning a lot more. Like it's fine if you worry about her safety and stay alert if she needs anything but it's totally different to tell him to go and be deliberately rude from the get go just so she wouldn't stay friends with her.
And if you're worried about poaching, then just warn her? Tell her why you don't trust her for being part of that other guild and that you worry about what her intentions are. Let her decide if she is going to stay friends with her or not on her own.

The thing is the person is being suspicious, they meet coincidentally and get along from the get go, she is so interested in the mc and have sooo much in common and ask to join her guild and they are already meeting irl. It's suspicious.
Super nice people that have the same tastes as you, same age, same situation that you meet anonymously on internet are especially suspicious when they are trying to reach you irl.
Someone overly friendly like that usually have ulterior motives. The best way to avoid getting manipulated by that kind of people is to be openly hostile. If he is going there not to make friend but to gauge the person it's not a bad strategy at all.
That being said if the person turn out to be normal and without ulterior motives, he will have to apologize and explain his behavior.

Mmm like I said it's fine if he worries about her but I don't think that's the correct approach regardless. Akane is an adult and she isn't dumb. But more than that, Akane wants this. She wants to meet this person and befriend her. In the case of Eita, he could tell her specifically what parts worry him, or the reasons he worries and let Akane decide for herself. As Yamada said, she looks happy and he doesn't want to put a damper on that. My main problem with Eita's advice is that he is ordering Yamada to do this without Akane's concern. Tho I know that that is something Yamada wouldn't do.
Also, this is mostly just my taste, if I was in this situation and a friend did this when I'm trying to befriend someone I would be very angry with that friend. If they had a worry, or worse, knew something, I would have preferred they told me than pull that.
It's not quite that explicit, she is sus definitely but to us readers who have a lot more info on who she actually could be or could be planning. And from what I understood, Eita doesn't trust her because she is from a guild I suppose they had problems with. And I get that he is suspicious, but I think that if he had these worries (or knew that the girl had ulterior motives) he should tell that to Akane NOT try and stop her from befriending that girl through a plan Akane didn't ask for.
