Probably the maid is a traitor and she was like obsessed with Hinael marrying Chetter also she performs her duties poorly, isn’t she supposed to learn everything about Triekas to help her lady? Instead she’s sabotaging Hinael. I hope she’s just dumb and clueless cause poor Hinael doesn’t deserve treason
I haven't read this, but I did read a spoiler from the novel and apparently the maid is in fact, betraying her. And makes her infertile or something.
